You ever realize that not one but TWO Shinigami killed themselves over Misa.

Matsuda 🗣️
"Well, if you two are so smart, why did you die?"

Not to mention good luck trying to prove magic is real to the courts L

L and Kira having a conversation in the afterlife arguing over each other's methods, morals & ethics is lowkey a fire concept tough🔥👍

"You couldn't even kill Matsuda"

Yeah, that's right. Remind me who shot you, Light.

Damn, so Death Note is just... literal egotistical people desperately trying to one up each other

at least its honest

Yeah L had a way worse win con than light but come on we gotta give him credit he went from it could be anyone in the world and then it went to it could be anyone in japan and then it went to it could be anyone in this household. I mean if you can narrow it down to that its pretty impressive

"Youve already shown you respond to criticism by reaching for a pen. What happens when your idea of a criminal *changes*? Who gets to tell God that hes being a bit of a dick." Holy FUCK is that a quote.

Respect to the disrespect being tossed around

Death Note isn't technically about intelligence. It's more about power and how people use it. Intelligence is one form of power, but the show goes over many other methods and types of power.

0:19 " I miss/love your stupid face" is something My mother and father say to each other all the time so they put it in their wedding vows when they got married

Forgot to mention how light could've gotten the same results by just targeting higher ups like politicians

Not to mention Misa told Light how to kill a Shinigami in the first place.

Light's laughing a bit too loud for someone who got shot by Matsuda 5 times

This was cinema. 10/10, no NEEEEEEEEERRRRRDD!!! required.

Imagine writing a 20 minute argument with yourself. This is actually kinda epic

I love all the more serious points here. It really felt like a dissection of the show and the characters. 10/10 would watch these as well as the extra silly videos

Undead, you say?
Humor, you say?
How very relatable.

No matter how you slice it, the two were a lot more similar than they ever thought possible. And the ability to play judge, jury and executioner on a whim, shouldn't be in anyone's hands.
