I love the whole speedrunning community, because they'll come up with stuff like "Cutie booba skip", but the moment something makes them wait for a quarter of a second, it's immediately dubbed "The Death Stare"

Just wanted to say that I really appreciate the fact that for this video, you reached out to the speedrun community and clearly worked close with them to make a video that is very accurate and provides interesting information that has not really been shown to a wide audience before.

NSMB really had fun values before Undertale

Super mario bros DS was one of my favourite games. My first console was a DSI XL - imagine my surprise when I asked for a DS with super mario bros for christmas (promised I wont even need to use the home computer anymore to play flash games) and got pretty much the best handheld nintendo had to offer at that time, the game and also super mario 64 DS ! one of the best christmas of my life.  I only had one friend which also had a nintendo and his brother also had one - we had a blast on the local multiplayer gamemodes and minigames. Its so good to see this game I grew up with still getting tons of love to the point people pretty much dismantle the game to ones and zeroes. Your video and the dedication of the speedrunners give the game the dedication it deserved.

love this video, the work it took to make, the editing, the script, the music choices in the background ( esspecially the one that plays 27:40 ) great video. im subbed

27:38 I love how his voice goes from strong and confident to shy and quiet when interviewing this person 😭

thanks for shining more light on this goated community
