Join me on one final adventure aboard the Royal Enfield Bear 650 as I ride 150 miles to Silverstone to swap it for the Royal Enfield Classic 650.

What should have been a straightforward motorcycle collection quickly turned into an adventure, with motorway traffic, navigation issues and a race against the clock to make it there before closing time.

In this video, I’ll share my first impressions of the new Classic 650, take the scenic route to my overnight accommodation and say goodbye to a motorcycle that I’ve genuinely enjoyed riding.

You are using an old software. My phone display can be turned off and the tripper navication continiues. The problem seems to be solved months ago by an update.

I had the classic 350 and loved it but I wanted just a bit more power so traded for the 650. What a beautiful bike in the colours of the one you have. Just wish I could to have both.

Hi Jack, you said you can lose your luggage if you leave it on the bike, which is definitely because you're in England. I went on a long tour in Norway, and no one touches anything there. You can even leave your keys in the ignition and go pay for gas inside, and no one will touch your bike, not even your accessories, phone, GPS, or suitcases. You can even leave them open, and no one will touch anything, even at night.
It is certainly a question of culture and education and respect towards others.
Not everyone has it.

for me, the biggest problem with brand new royals are the led headlight, halogen for me, was way superior

RE need to make the Classic 650 with the same (or as many) colour options as the Classic 350, or the Meteor 350. The fully Chrome one is sweet, but the strawberries & cream, or teal aren't for me. A signals version would sell like hot cakes!

What phone are you using to connect to the Tripper? My Google Pixel 9 does NOT require the screen to be on for navigation to work.

My fiance and I both have 350 classics. Neither of us feels any need to have anything more powerful. She's 26 years old and I'm 20 x 3+5. This bike satisfies us both. The bikes are strictly for Sunday afternoon pleasure trips involving zero interstate legs for the most part. Although on a couple of occasions we found ourselves on a 10 or 15 Mile leg of interstate.
Don't feel the need for any more speed than I it is capable of, after all it's faster than my Toyota Camry 0-60😅

The only thing I've ever had a concern about since I've owned it is tubed tires. I don't think I would ever do a roadside fix of a flat. But I love the retro spokes as opposed to the mags on my fiance's stealth black model. So I toy with the idea of a tubeless conversion. This would allow me to maintain the retro look and have more piece of mind that a simple flat kit can fix a flat.

Not interested in any performance enhancements but maybe a more maintenance light belt replacement for the chain.
