the older you get, THE MORE THIS SONG RESONATES

Time is the only currency your spend where you don’t know your balance.

The tolling of the iron bell is a church bell for a funeral....starts with heartbeat,...being a kid kicking around your hometown...getting older and shorter of breath (like me). Being older and warming your old bones and finally the funeral...

Of all the great guitarists, Gilmour could wring emotions from a stratocaster like no one else.

We were on our teens, early twenties when this album resonated... how different has life become since! Remembering every word the moment the music starts and every note played... simple life, we didnt know how good we had it....❤

Imagine being a teenager, home alone, and you power up your dad's big Tube Amp, and throw this album onto the record player and crank it up. Dishes rattling in the cabinets, picture frames shaking on the walls, you can feel the bass of the music in your chest... you got goosebumps and your hairs are standing on end. Those were the days...

there are 12 bass drops before the song kicks in - one for each number on the clock face and for each month that passes - all there for a reason - GENIUS !!!!!!!!!1

🔥Dark side of the moon is a masterpiece.

Thanks guys, I knew this would be a good reaction. Mr. Biscuit is a thoughtful dude, I enjoy hearing where he comes from. BP, it has been a pleasure watching your journey. Not just the Floyd stuff but your exploration of classic rock. I have seen you grow, gain a deeper understanding of what being a man is. It is OK to shed a tear, to have emotions you are secure enough to show. Love of family, your place in the world and humility come into focus with the help of great music that touches your soul.

David Gilmour plays from the soul. You feel every note he plays.

I bought this album when it first came out and never stopped listening to it and I’m 64 now. It is simply brilliant, and will be across time.

Wait until you're 50-60 years old and listen to it again. Guaranteed tears. Trust me....

Yeah, it kind of feels like I'm just getting my stride and it's damned near over! That's life!

12:25. Putting together all of his guitar solos shows how he can push his soul past the limits of our reality and express the deepest hopes and fears of our innermost being. It is a cry from the depths of our existence.

@Mrbiscuitspeaks @blackpegasusraps we “felt” it too when we were younger, couldn’t explain it then but it’s what kept us listening to Pink Floyd. Later in life, as TIME goes by and you reflect, you realize that some artists are capable of imparting a bit of themselves, soul/spirit, thru the tones they create…which in reality are vibrations that resonate with your soul/spirit. Movement of spirit is how I describe it. It happens in other ways…that tear in your eye that you can’t explain…sit with it and you’ll know. Great reaction. Ps Tolling Iron Bell refers to death.

One of the biggest tragedies of life is that we grow old too soon and wise too late. The older I get the more these lyrics resonate and I wish I had spent more time with loved ones. Years start blurring and flying by with the monotony of everyday life, working, and plans fall through. When we were young it always felt like we had nothing but time, and now it feels like there's never enough. Spend your time wisely folks, and appreciate the ones around you before it's too late. The relationships we make and foster are the only thing that will matter in the end after we're gone. Sure, enjoy that boat, or that Chanel bag, Corvette/Hellcat, etc., but also and most importantly, spend and enjoy your time with your loved ones. We're in an age where the Internet/social media/gaming has caused so many in these younger generations to spend so much time around their family, but not WITH them, so I am trying to spread that wisdom in the hopes that some younger person will see it and actually take it into consideration before they've gained that wisdom too late when they're much older.

David Gilmour captures huge intentional emotions with his stylistic playing. He's not a "speed" player, but there is a very deliberate intensity that complements the lyrical depth of emotion. The whole band as a collective is just brilliant in conveying depth of feeling on serious and often somber topics that are eye-opening and help us to realize not to take life for granted, to feel empathy, whether it's to give perspective on psychology or psychosis, addiction, politics, business and so much more. They have a way of really create self-awareness with many wake-up calls.

In 1974 I was 13 and discovered Pink Floyd, here I’m lying on my couch at 64 and still listening to Pink Floyd and watching a reaction to Pink Floyd and how fast time slips away, and all I can think is I hope young people realize that and live their lives fully and don’t spend time on things that really don’t matter and focus on their family and friends and doing what’s right as often as possible. “ Shine On “😊😊

What drew us in with pink floyd was how the music after the lyrics kept speaking to you but it was up to you what you heard.  It was also a trip to smoke weed and listen to.

Mr Biscuit is frickn Awesome!...🤘🇺🇸
