I've watched Maya do this like 10 times, I've watched her go through the same tour with multiple different streamers like 20 times, and yet Ill still enjoy whenever she does it again 😂

Mia getting in on the bit was top tier comedy.

5:20 Mia understood the bit and followed through beautifully

Imagine getting Bad Bunny to tour Alveus and teach Maya some Spanish.

First time I ever heard of whimzees was YEARS ago when Jenna and Julien took their dogs on a shopping spree at the pet store and Kermit went crazy for the whimzees lol

11:06 classic Spanish learning struggle of ser and estar

5:55 looking straight into our souls

I love these videos. I feel like alot of the time when talking about animals and animal care, people focus on habitat, enrichment, and diet. But in these theres emphasis on how much work goes into just keeping their spaces clean, which I really appreciate. Often people and pet owners will forget about it until they actually get first hand experience with the animal and proceed to treat it like some horrible chore. It's gross, but mucking out enclosures is just as important as the rest of an animal's husbandry, and Maya treats it the same as she would with the "fun" stuff, which i think is really neat.

I unironically would really love a video showing how everyone's enclosures get cleaned. It would be really interesting to get a look at what it actually would be like to keep these kinds of animals.

I am loving the confidence to showcase your self learned language skills on stream. It should be like this ❤ pain and all lol

loved the spanish segment, i've been speaking/learning spanish for almost a decade now so i relate to the new learner struggles haha! Pro tip for remembering ser vs estar: if it's how you feel or where you are, that is when you use estar

also watch out for false cognates lmao. embarazada does NOT mean embarrassed!!!! iykyk

Hello, latin american here! This isn't the case always, but IM GENERAL "ser" is a permanent state of being, while "estar" is a temporary state of being. You could say "el mango es rico" "mango is tasty" in a general sense like "I like mango because it's tasty" but if you're eating one mango and you're like "damn this mango is tasty" you'd say "este mango está rico".

Similarly, a person is pretty "es bonito (o lindo)" but their clothes they're wearing that day are pretty "está bonita esa ropa". If however you're asking "is the skirt pretty" you'd say "es linda", because the skirt is permanently pretty or ugly.

The final thing, being in a place is always temporary, and so are emotions I guess. So you don't soy "soy en texas" but "estoy en texas". With emotions is a bit more nuanced. "Soy feliz" means I am happy in life, my personality is that of a happy person. "Estoy feliz" means I am happy in this moment.

You can in general kinda understand "estoy" as "I am in a state of"

It’s great to see how special all of these animals to Maya and the rest of the staff are! That’s why it makes their content so relaxing, keep it up Alveus!💚

I'm surprised Maya doesn't have a ramp for the compost container. It would probably make it easier for her to move the wheelbarrow instead of trying to lift it.

Gidget is absolutely adorable, what a wonderful morale officer.

7:18 she’s all about dat bass!

"Learning Spanish with Maya while mucking animal feces" needs to become a series.

The Mia bit is BEGGING to be a short lol

The staff learning spanish is going to be so fun, im hispanic and i can imagine how confusing it must be 😭

5:31 I love the gray. it's body queues show no anxiousness and climbing down to interact is awesome.

I just feel sad not a lot of people that visit really want to interact  😢

the  OG animal  crossing music used in this video is everything<3
