I can't believe she gave me her trust in the end with that little act ❤Everyone go check out Sundays for all of the help they are giving us in helping dogs like Princess! https://www.rockykanaka.com/sundays

I adopted a dog that was this shut down, wouldn’t stand or walk. Very skinny and full of fleas. Wouldn’t go through doors or up stairs and with a busy environment would have a meltdown, sounded like you were killing him. Took a little time and turned into the best dog. Had him for 12 years and lost him a couple of months ago, he is greatly missed.

Our neighbors moved and left their Shepard chained to a tree, after hearing the constant bark day and night for two days, i couldnt stand it. OMG, I felt bad i didnt go sooner, but he had no water, no food, was big and scary looking and didnt like men. So iwas the one to try to regain trust, slowly offering, water and food every day. Getting closer everyday. Long storie short, the dog came home and lived with me with vet care, food, play, warm bed . He stayed for the rest of his life. Sad the way some people treat animals.

No bad dogs. Only bad owners. Beautiful baby.

I'm so happy that I saw in the pupdate that Princess was adopted (upon adoption readiness) by a woman named Jackie who also had another beautiful white husky named Iris!  Princess and Iris look like they were made for each other. 🐾 🤍

I’m in Scotland. It’s 01:36am and I have a little rescue kitty that has been shut down after horrific abuse. I scooped her and put her on my lap. Talked to her in a soft voice (for hours now) and trying to give her little bits of chicken and pipettes of cat formula. I put your voice on in the background - we’re just sitting. And then she’s started to purr, look about the room and sniff me. Her eyes are actually moving about rather than vacant and my other older rescue cat (who’s fine) has joined us but isn’t sitting too close. He’s watching her but not rushing her. He’s started purring too - I’m aware we’re all self-soothing. I don’t think she’s suddenly happy or anything but she’s starting to get curious about where we are. Baby steps.

Broke my heart seeing her little face pressed up against the corner. ❤❤

I'm a veteran with PTSD and your videos are so relaxing. I can empathize with each dog so much when they are tight and forcing themselves into a wall. I can see their emotions in their eyes, the fear. Then, when you get them to relax, I can feel your happiness, and the dog's relaxation states kick in. It feels amazing. When Princess goes from tight muscles cowering in your lap to eating treats and panting and actually feeling good being held, its so nice. :D Thank you for what you do!

Trauma-based people therapist here.  (Not currently practicing.)  Your instinct for soothing trauma is right on the button.  So impressed!

Knowing a traumatized dog needs connection but can't reach out for is a piece of wisdom I wish more people understood, because it's true of humans, too.

That "I'm not here, you can't see me" melting into the wall literally broke me!
I rescued a great dane who had been starved and abused her whole two years, and when I met her she was trying so hard to curl into a ball the size of a chihuahua, shaking like a leaf and trying so hard to be invisible.
She was my best friend, absolute soulmate for six amazing, beautiful, far too short years!
I was 14 when I found her, and since then I have always rescued, and always picked the dog that needs the most support, that everyone else walks past. The dog that's curled up in the corner, wondering if they'll ever know love again. THAT is my dog, and every dog I've rescued has shown themselves to be a dog in a million!

Rocky, I saw the video about PRINCESS about 2 weeks ago, and I left a comment immediately. My wife and I are in Houston TX. If Princess is still available for adoption,  we would be happy to have her in our family. We already have a husky (Mama).....Mama and Princess not only look alike, but share a similar history. We put in the work, and Mama is now the most adorable dog in the world. We are sure that Mama can/will help Princess overcome whatever she's going through. My wife would make all the necessary inquiries first thing tomorrow morning. We hope she's still available for adoption.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

For her to be so shut down like that is heartbreaking 🥺 That precious girl should be brimming with energy and love.  I have faith though, she's gonna find her forever home 💖💖💖💖

Rocky, YOU are awesome! 💕

Poor poor baby- she’s beautiful! Thank you all for helping her ❤️

I am an elderly lady who is 72 yrs old. My husband is 74. We lost our small dog in February. I feel like i need a companion again but I fear that I might can't take care of it. But yet I feel the need to have one. I loved my little Buddy. He meant so much to me.

She is so beautiful and yet so pitiful. She looks heartbroken.

Thanks! Thank you for caring and doing what you do,

OMG, when she tried to ball up further into the corner and the fear in her eyes... My gosh, I wish I could have acres and acres of land to take these dogs in. I fall in love with all of them featured on this show.

I’m a psychotherapist and I think it’s wonderful that you explain  psychology because someone out there may be feeling the same way.  So your helping dogs and people ❤❤❤

OMG, This  poor dog is breaking my heart.  Thank God
for you, Rocky.
