I have always thought about this little boy over the years and wondered how he was. Alex has grown into a lovely young man. His dad has done a great job.

I cried all the way through watching this. Dad did the best thing removing themselves from the UK, protecting his son. I'm so pleased to see that you both have managed to make a good life given the horrendous events. You're a great father. ❤

The press had no decency in their reporting. Conveying the news is one thing but to harass the victims into submission is wicked. I remember the case well, it was shocking; but oh my goodness, how much respect can we show this family for the way they have dealt with such a tragedy. I hope they continue to be strong and enjoy their lives. RIP Rachel. ❤

What a beautiful son and father who have such beautiful hearts and souls. The closeness is there to see. They have grown into such beautiful people. Bless them both. The father has been a great one and brought his son up to be a wonderful kind and loving man with morals and principles. The world needs more people like this in it that`s for sure.

Rachel’s death shocked the entire country , I didn’t know Alex had also been attacked. I clearly remember he was found by his beautiful mother’s side , really heartbreaking 💔, it really affected me as my own son was born the same year as Alex and the thought of what he had gone through was horrifying . Respect to both of them for the way they have coped and living out their lives together in Spain 🙏

I'm absolutely blown away by the emotional intelligence and life wisdom of both the father, and the son. Something beyond horrible happened in the early beginnings of their story together as parent(s) and son, but I feel bold enough to say that their story has had, and is still having, a happy ending. And I feel richer for having learnt about it. Thank you.

I am deeply ashamed by the British press. I was living in the Wimbledon area at the time of Rachel's death & remember the horror of it, being a 25 year old woman myself. Wishing you both the very best.

Dad did absolutely the right thing to take his little boy away and start over without the pressure from the media and the public, no matter how well meaning it was. It can't have been easy for him. He was dealing with so much grief, but he gave his son the best possible chance of a normal life. It's so lovely to see them so close and thriving. I've thought of them both and Rachel many times over the years.

I grew up in Clapham and used to go to Wimbledon occasionally. I remember this distinctly and how awful it was. I'm so glad to see Alex has turned into such a lovely young man I shed a tear or two watching this. Love to Alex and Andre
