The way Preminger moves and talks is so iconic, the world is a theatre for him

The moment I saw the title, I knew Preminger was the winner without any second thoughts. He’s petty, devious and kills it in musical numbers? ICONIC 🔥

dame devin was actually quite scary to me for some reason, cause like after all, she was a MOTHER. somehow that made her story even more ominous and disturbing.

What I always found hilarious about Barbie and the Pink Shoes was the ballet instructor was the villain for wanting Barbie to keep to the choreography.....lol like girl....

The fact that Preminger was voiced by Martin Short still blows me away lol. I feel like he downed a glass of wine before each recording session and that's just the vibe

Wenlock was always the Barbie villain that terrified me the most. He’s just SUPER creepy…

Rowenas punishment was the one that scared me most as a kid. Like. Dancing forever? Having to keep moving even when your body is shutting down and all your muscles are aching immeasurably??? What if your partner died before you? Does she dance with his corpse or does he drop to the ground and keep dancing alone.

I think Dame Devin should be first only because she’s the only Barbie villain who actually killed not only one but two people, one of them being her own sister. Blaire was also supposed to die despite being a baby, that’s just goes to show how far she  willing to go just for power.

The reason i think Dame Devin is a great villain is because she has a confirmed kill with Blair's parents. A lot of other villains have kidnapped or gotten rid of people temporarily (i.e. rat king turning them to stone) but these people often turn back to normal or are revived by the end of the film. Dame Devin is one of the few definite killers.

If ever there was a movie that needed to be re-adapted into a live musical it is Princess and the Pauper. Just imagine How Can I Refuse live on stage with a Broadway budget 🔥

Video idea: What if you do a tier list of Barbie couples?

"the forced marriage is dark when you think about it" no kidding considering annika only just turned 16 and wenlock... definitely is older than 18 that's for sure. and he also did the same thing to brietta 16 years earlier, so he's at least a decade older and a double offender.

I know and respect Preminger as #1, but Laverna in Magic of the Rainbow just really, really terrifies me because she's able to gaslight Elina into being her bestfriend as Sunburst and when her reveal happens during the Flight of Spring with only her voice in Sunburst's body... just chills, I can't imagine that happening to me irl

Malucia is admittedly an interesting villain because she's really fun and subversive. Little kids in almost all Barbie movies are meant to be the cutesy girls to market toys, but not Malucia. She's bratty, greedy, and she commands attention in every scene. I remember her so well because she's just so much fun to watch. I love unorthodox villains and little kids are some of my favorites.

Gothel, Rowena, Rothbart (the scariest imo) and Preminger are my favorite villains :). Gothel deserves her own movie featuring her backstory.

Fun fact: the same voice actress that plays Laverna also plays Saraphina (Annalise’s cat), plays iris in mermaid tail and soooo many other characters in the Barbie world. Just the fact that Laverna and Saraphina are the same voice actress is crazy to me!! You would never think

I think Henna should've been ranked higher
But she not only befriended the butterfly fairies mortal enemy and was willing yo let the citizens be eaten
Poisoned their queen
Gaslit the guards
And Imprisoned their prince
She basically gaslit gatekeeped and girlbossed the entire movie
Also she's really pretty 💜
Edit: I forgot about a handful of these villains but oml these guys are so iconic. I actually cheered for Rothbar, evil bird daddy is an icon

Preminger is my favorite villain, but Wenlock from Magic of the Pegasus was the creepiest. Man literally turned women to trolls so he could make his own harem. 4 year old me was terrified.

I feel like Preminger is so iconic as he reminds me so much of Disney villains. And old school Disney villains are designed to have a confident Queer-vibe but it makes them so iconic and likeable even though they are villains. Preminger definetly channels that energy too

no joke everyone you put in the top 5 genuinely used to scare me as a kid 😭 this ranking is so valid
