Nice piece. Great to see Jon again.

I had a cheap bbq, had so many issues such as airflow, temperature control - even material quality. It once ruined the food i was cooking (which ironically cost more than the bbq itself).

I dithered it for a weber - and I’ve never looked back. Still going strong after 10+ years and stored outside (i do use a cover). Plus there are so many good accessories, such as the vortex or slow n sear.

i had the argos one, can honestly say it was a bag of sh**, the catch tray on the bottom went malleable after its first use and just falls off whenever touched now as the clips are wobbly

Food gonna taste exactly the same... all it comes down to is the Webber will last longer...but  you can replace the cheap one every few years and price wise you'll get more lifespan out 4-5 cheap ones than one expensive one

You can see your breath....

seems a bit pointless

Where the Weber wins is longevity.  The Argos one will be a rust bucket in a couple of years.  The Weber will last you a decade or more.

You ignored all the mid price BBQs inbetween the budget and premium BBQs. You should introduce a mid priced model into these tests like you do with others.

I buy cheap £20 BBQs , last a year , recycle buy another .
Does the job well .
Only 2 , or four of us .
