Help me boost this video even more by hyping it and hitting that like button for me! 🙏 Also if you let it play through without skipping my "boring" dialog, that will single-handedly help the most 🫡

You're the fuckin first that use different ballistic bodies for each shot. Congrats man👏🏻

@brianaustin1328 2 weeks ago

I watched this with an Emergency Room doc. He said that all of these shots are lethal. The larger bullets are more messy, but they aren’t more dead.

Hilarious how the smaller channel on YouTube takes the money and time to get all different ballistic dummys for their test much respect you had me subscribing the second I seen them the bigger channels could learn a thing or two from you my man

@olliekatt-x3t 2 weeks ago

I believe every one of them was a lethal hit , even that 22lr

Looks like my favorite 45 acp is still a great performer 100 years later

I really appreciate the consistent shot placement. You dont always see that from youtubers

I’m retired police, and I worked in the second largest department in the US. I’ve seen a lot of GSWs in different parts of the human body, and from calibers ranging from 22 to 12ga, and everything in between. Rarely were headshots explosive. There tended to be leakage and spurting while the heart was still beating, sometimes light to heavy flow, but I’ve seen 22s kill a fair number of people. What you’re not seeing initially is when projectiles ricochet inside of a skull, or off a rib, or even a femur and cause splintering and tissue and arterial damage.

Solid video. One of the best head / caliber test videos I’ve seen. Nicely done Sir!!

A friend of mine in college was shot square in the head with a .25 acp and survived. The bullet deflected off his skull, skimmed around the side of his head (while under his scalp) and exited. He was in a coma, had a bunch of skull fractures, and severe brain swelling. They had to drill holes in skull to relieve pressure, but he did survive. Trauma surgeon said he had never seen that before, but had heard of it happening in medical school.

Maybe them old-timers were right about .22 rounds pinballing in your skull😂😂

@RogerBeckett-s2j 2 weeks ago

We used a bolt action .22lr to kill steers for butchering. From 8-10” into the brain and they dropped instantly. Human skulls are a bit thinner.

I have a friend, that was a police detective. He said that the.22 solid is more lethal than a lot of larger calibers. It doesn’t expand, and if it hits bone or soft tissue, it makes a different path than it starts with. He said that he saw a wound that hit the right rib cage and glanced inside and hit the heart and both lungs. He said that you could clean up the blood with a single paper towel.

Thank you for using 165 grain on the 40. That's the sweetspot grain for the caliber.

In the early 80’s an old man in our town owned a pretty big grocery. When he came out the side door one night a guy tried to rob him with a .22 short rifle pistol. That short ricocheted off his forehead. Broke the skin but didn’t even fracture the bone. Hard headed old man!
