Slings are (almost) as old as time and they allow a humble man and his stone to become a devastating projectile launcher that delivers death out to several hundred meters.

We think of them usually as ancient world weapons from Greece, Rome or the Middle East, but in fact they were popular and used on battle fields through the medieval period, so I thought it would be interesting to see what they can do in the hands of a skilled slinger.

So I called up Lewis from Archaic Arms and he came to show me what it can do.  ~And believe me; it is SCARY powerful.  Fruit, chain mail, blocks of clay, shields, a GoPro and even a chronograph all succumb to its power.

                                                              All hail the sling!
