This is so inspired! It’s funny that they have a set list, I thought it was all a long jam. I didn’t recognize very much of these songs , they are played so differently and they never stop. It’s seamless. No breaks- pure energy . ❤

So exciting! A deep throbbing , bass and drums sound punctuated by Avante Garde !

I saw the same lineup with Liebman a couple times at Paul’s Mall in Boston.
I remember seeing Miles insert earplugs before the start of his set.
The room had a low false ceiling.

I don't think this remaster was an improvement overall. It is a good effort and I will return to it because it brings certain things out. But much of it melts together with other parts. The bass drum is much too loud and the rest of the drums are smothered. The guitars become mush.

In one piece, you can hear Stochastic concepts, “Meditations”, “Ascension”, Jimi and Buddy Guy, Cecil Taylor , JB, Sly, and see the book close on the advant-garde.Remarkable musical achievement!!
