holy hell, i never knew keith jarret could be so funky, him and the bass player are locked in 🤘

Imagine a time where music like this was played on live broadcast television. What a glorious fusion of Afro-jazz funk, thank you much for sharing!

Don Elias..what a master percussionist. This type of fusion is not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me.

I know Jarrett hates electric keyboards and only played them cause it was Miles that asked him to, but damn, Keith is getting down!

This is amazing music. I mean this sincerely -- I feel badly for those who can't hear it (and I know there are many). The beauty, the fire, the infectious rhythms. There was a time in my early 20s when I couldn't penetrate what Miles was doing. I stuck with Miles through Live Evil, Agharta, Dark Magus, Get Up With It... and it would all wash over me and I'd be lost. But I remained intrigued, and never bored. Now I can't imagine my life without this music. I don't think it's a matter of being convinced this is good - I think one day the penny drops and you're like.... "oh."   And then you can't get enough. Thanks for this post!

We should thank God every day, but give us somebody like him. Somebody who was so great so diligent about this music in this crowd in a man that kept evolving like the world in the times itself. He never stayed the same for 30+ years he was a dominant dominant fiction. Then one day he woke up and said I’ve got to create a new sound something so so organic with your players all of the players he had with were young players that just shows his commitments of what he believes thank you Miles. Love you.

Always a pleasure to hear a new Michael henderson ostinato I haven't heard before (at like 14 mins)

55 years later and I'm getting a contact high. This performance is a very powerful spell.

Gary Bartz and Keith Jarrett are on fire!! 🔥

A Very Young Michael Henderson on Bass! RIP HAPPY BEARTHDAY ❤

this may possibly be the greatest thing I've ever heard!

The Great Michael Henderson on bass

This band is so hot n nasty!!! You know yr in trouble if YT is recommending this at 4:55am. Nothing underscores being sleep deprived like some wha-wha trumpet.

Extraordinary concert.  Legendary sounds.

Getting paid for this kind of fun is where it's at

When music is obviously a spiritual experience.

This is alternative music now. This is culture.

One of the best Miles' peformances I know. Gary Bartz - underrated giant.

this is truly some of thee most transendental music from one of thee best & most important bands of all time especially since they were a thing for barely a year & a half as presently presented here........
thank you thank you thank you ❤️
