Steven - I love your enthusiasm and joy of just traveling. Winging it is the best way to go. I'm envious of the beauty surrounding and appreciate you sharing it with us. Safe travels, my friend.

Great video. Inspirational to me as I am wanting to ride to Scotland from Wiltshire, England.

Liked your sleeping setup. Spent decades at bike rallies and touring in a German army issue sleeping bag . It has arms and a hood and has waterproof outer.Ideal for hot nights with no tent. Paired with an aerobics mat as a mattress. Bike jacket as pillow . Heating supplied in sub zero by a old biscuit tin with many holes in the lid and eight hour tea candles keep the temperature at a nice warm temperature.

Hi Steven, we toured Skye and the Outer Hebrides in 2024! Fantastic experience. After the Missenden Flyers disappointment at getting tickets I prebooked the ferries.. Folowed up with NC 500. Perfect weather and scenery.

I loved the conversation with the gent at the fuel station! Triumph is doing it right if the T100 draws the classic enthusiasts like that! Wonderful to hear the exchange between you two 🤙🏍️

I,v done abit of winter wild camping,,, my setup is somewhat different.. I normally use a cheap two man tent,, I never peg down and I do,nt park next to the tent... I like to use a camp bed and cheapo pad...If I think its going tobe supercold (winter) I get the best sleepingbag I can afford with my bike jacket next to me ready to pull over.. I sometimes boil water and put in a thermos ready for use with a hot water bottle if the temp goes down low in the middle of the night...There is nothing better then a hot water bottle at 3/4 in the morning....

Wow, you really won a lottery with that weather. Enjoy it.
PS I'm planning on doing the NC500 in August, on Bonneville T100 as well ❤

Great video. You really sold solo camping on a motorcycle. Planning to do the same this year, so very interested in the campsites you are visiting. Enjoy.
