Steven my boy, Another great video! Beautiful beautiful views for for sure. Wish I was there with you. The sunset on the beach in your last scene was amazing!
Concerning a touring bike, or an adventure bike. I've had a Triumph Tiger Explorer which brought me ro Newfoundland when I lived in New England. Absolute wonderful bike. Pricey for sure and that was in 2012. I dont have any "touring/adventure bikes now. I have a Speed Triple 1200RR, a Thruxton RS and a Street Triple Moto2. Non of which are what you'd be looking for. Since I am a Triumph lover 😊 the new Tiger 850 Sport looks great. Tiger 900's too if you want to stick with the brand. I'm in Arizona, no longer in Boston. I'm considering the 850 Sport. Its much lighter then my Tiger 1200. The shaft drive was worry free too.

One of the reasons that you and your channel came up was that I was able to see all these cool trips, on a bike like mine (street scrambler 900). I totally understand the logic, but it also makes this channel unique in its own way. A bmw touring bike would still be great content, but I want to see bonnevilles doing these trips :)

Staying south of Aberdeen I visit Ullapool a fair bit. Go up for the live music. ( getting a room is £££, with the one nighters doing NC500) I would base myself there and do a highland tour from there.
Got 2 nights booked end of May. 2 is all I could get.
Gorgeous is weather is decent and not so, if rainy.
Most enjoyable watch 😊😊😊

Touring bikes are awesome but my feeling is that you get more of a sense of accomplishment doing on the T100.

If I was to 'consider' another big bike it would be a 1200 Scrambler or something similar. Those big tourers are great for distance but they can be unwieldy when the going gets tough. I understand you guys don't have a similar amount of gravel roads in the UK like we do in Canada but I'd take a nimble bike over a big tourer any day. My current ride is a T120 Bonneville and it is spectacular IMO. Hands down, the best bike I've ever owned.

Here in Aus everything is a long distance trip 😂 My two bobs would be to stick to the Triumphs... perhaps a Tiger... Just something about the trumps

Hi Steven, I watch your videos in large part because you're on a Triumph T100 while touring. That's what brought me to your channel in the first place. Your relaxed understated presentation and beautiful videography have motivated me to watch all of your videos, sometimes more than once. I think the challenges and opportunities of touring on a Bonneville are unique and differentiating. Look at Freddie Dobbs - strong interest in his older air-cooled Bonnie has to be given a big part of his channel's success, at least initially. I wonder if he would have gleaned the same attention if he were riding a GS. All that said, do what you want and ride what you want to ride. I suspect you'll do well and your channel will grow whatever you ride.

Enjoying this, subscribed obviously, with regard to touring bike, it might make packing, sat nav, easier, But, I do think the stories us bikers always remember most are the hardships.

I have toured France on my Bonneville. It is so easy to ride and easily carried my luggage.Variety is the spice of life though. There are so many good bikes out there to ride, I dont blame you if you try something different.

Hey buddy. New subscriber here, loving your videos. Bravo on the solo journeys. I stay just north of inverness myself and planning my first solo trip very soon.
