R2-D2. The true main character of Star Wars.

There aren’t many scenes that give me goosebumps any and every time, but when those doors open to the hooded demon and the trumpets hail Duel of the Fates, full chicken skin.

This movie had one of the coolest posters....young Anakin walking on Tatooine and the shadow he casts onto the wall next to him is Darth Vader.

"You freed me from slavery,
Thank you so much Qui- Gon!"

" Call me master"

Girl hit the ground running, recognizing the name Palpatine right away, congrats!

"How does he go from Little Ani to Darth Vader? I'm so scared!"

All will be revealed in time.

10:28 you actually noticed the decoy way earlier than most reactors... and many of us who watched it in '99

First rule of the Midichlorian Club, we don't talk about the Midichlorian Club.

If Qui-Gon had lived beyond just part 1 then Vader wouldn’t have happened most likely.

You are correct that Qui-Gon would have been a father figure and Obi-Wan can only really be an older brother and it had to be that way.

Qui-Gon was around Anakin just long enough for a boy that never had a father to see what one might have looked like before Qui-Gon was killed and that almost certainly plays an early part in causing Anakin to drift even more to the dark side beyond just being scared and anxious about his mother’s situation.

You recognized the ET cameo! Impressive. Most impressive!

Why Naboo? Its because this whole conflict was orchestrated by Palpatine to gain power though sympathy, and he is the Naboo senator.

Three of my favorite Qui-Gon Jinn lines in this movie are:

"The ability to speak does not make you intelligent" (So useable for so many people in real life)

"There's always a bigger fish."

"Your focus determines your reality"

Funny trivia: Natalie Portman & Keira Knightley's (yes, THAT Keira Knightley) mothers had a hard time telling the two of them apart when they were in full costume and makeup as Queen Amidala.

Padme was 14 years old here and Anakin 9.

Qui Gon Jinn is one of my favorites. RIP big dog

Don't think I've ever seen anyone clock that it's Keira Knightley playing the Queen's decoy as quickly as you did. Good eye!

The fight between Obi-Wan and Maul had to be slowed down because George Lucas thought no one would believe that they were fighting so fast. You can find the original footage online and it does look sped up. But Ewan McGregor and Ray Park were just that good.
