I wouldn't say that the other three bullied Suzy, but given the different treatments they prolly distanced themselves from her, treating her as no more than a colleague. But that's my theory tho

Obviously the 3 didn’t mix very well with Suzy because she was absent in Jia’s birthday and Min’s wedding. When Fei went to New York to visit Min, they did a live video where they called Jia and when 1 fan asked them to call Suzy, Min openly spoke that they don’t have her numbers (which means no contact at all). So they are not real friends, more like co-workers.

All 9 members of Twice are on record as having been very wary of individual promotions for a long time. There was an implication that they didn't want to repeat what happened to Miss A. This is why it took so long before any of them did do a solo release. It is has been speculated that JYP himself was equally wary.

I wonder if all this happened due to actors being seen as greater celebrities than idols

The thing is, I never see these "bonds" that people claim these idols have. They're coworkers from start to finish. If they manage to form a nice friendship while working together? That's amazing, but no one EVER knows what's really going on with them behind closed doors.

I think that the fact that Fei, Jia, and Min already had chemistry from having already been training together for longer than they had been with Suzy hurt the image of the group unintentionally. I personally don’t think they looked or acted distanced from Suzy. I bet they liked her, but they simply did not have the same experiences as trainees or idols so they remained closer amongst the three of them. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Suzy ultimately was a work friend that they unfortunately did not stay in contact with. Doesn’t mean they didn’t like her

i'd be annoyed too, suzy was arguably the least skilled, but the lookism in korea is so bad all she needed was her face. when you watch reality shows like katseye, everyone hated manon bcs she was guaranteed debut just because of her visuals, while the others relied on their skills and trained for a much longer time. it's not suzy or manon's fault, but i get them being angry and frustrated.

Ngl fei‘s interview stunned me. First, the interviewer obviously tried to get the „tea“ out of her but fei stayed very professional and kind. Very often when celebrities or idols do that tho, they tend to give absolute no brainer sentences that sound like they say a lot but they actually seem to have no meaning at all. Just for the show yk. But this one actually felt true hearted and made a lot of sense. You can tell that she is well experienced and confident. It was almost refreshing

Fei’s response interview speech thing was actually so high eq so amazing 😭😭

The only thing that pissed me off was when the 3 members reunited at Min’s wedding and were painted as the villains by netizens (twt) while Suzy’s fans think she’s above them. I was a teen when they debuted and saw how it propelled Suzy’s career. Now that I’m an adult, I realized that not all co-workers can be friends and that’s okay. And this might be the case for Miss A. Add to that with how different JYPE treated the 3 members and Suzy, the age difference and training years, Suzy mostly away due to solo work, I wouldn’t be surprised if there had been discord between them when they were in a group. It seems like they’ve already moved on with it but the fans are still the ones stirring shit up.

Anyone kinda find their concept weird, considering Suzy was 15?

Edit: Some creeps got to this comment, don’t reply to them, they’re most likely ragebaiting. Dont waste your time. Protect children. 🙂

They(jyp) did nothing to protect the other three members when Suzy was on the rise, thy didn’t protect them from public scrutiny and negative opinion and just let netizens call miss a Suzy’s group, if you are constantly being put down because one member was more popular I can imagine tha a rift between them happened

People forget the most pushed member at the start was Min.

Public just seemed to be more entranced by Suzy cuz she was prettier.

Maybe that's why jyp started pushing Suzy more cuz they got more reactions for Suzy than they did for other members, especially the member they initially tried to push the most.

The first time I read the "my name isn't Suzy" line I wanted to smack JYP, what the hell was his problem 😭

I love Miss A. I know Suzy is a star,  beauty.. but let's be real, Miss A really help launch her career. I don't think she would stand out if she debut as soloist or actress.

I think, in general, 2nd gen Kpop had that ‘imbalance’ going on, in which one member is ultra popular and is pushed more or is given more lines. The most glaring example is SISTAR. We all know Hyolyn is an AMAZING singer and performer, no doubt, but their line distribution is abysmal. 2NE1 with CL, SNSD with Taeyeon and Yoona, EXID with Hanni (debatable though. Hanni literally saved her group with that fancam and I do think EXID had great line distributions), 4Minute with Hyuna

netizens getting mad over a CART??? oh god

Great video, I never really knew the full story.
I am glad Fei and Jia are seeing such huge levels of success themself now.

you can tell the way min talks about miss a, they're not close friends. there's no bad feelings but there's no affection to the members. fei worded things elegantly and i hope they let go of past feuds, and become closer.

besides this, the same thing happened with sunhwa and the rest of secret. one member becomes bigger than her group, and that member's priorities begin to shift, so distance between that member and the others naturally occues
