She just says the things we’re all feeling so plainly and honestly. She’s not verbose or pretentious, just relatable.

When you can collaborate with Hans Zimmer and Al Green on your album… you know you have something special.

How does she make such high art? She got rid of the shackles of a record company that stifled her potential. She’s independent now and we get 100% of the genius, vulnerability, imagination, and technical precision that is RAYE.

She’s a gift and a generational talent.

I'm part of the team in the UK pressing the vinyl for this album.
Over the past few weeks I've played the album 80-90+ times during testing and this track takes my breath away every time I hear it and I end up with tears of joy in my eyes.

There is literally nothing like this...anywhere.

The whole album is just incredible

I had the same reaction. My music brain didn't understand the yummy candy it was getting. Now addicted.

LETSGOOO!! Raye is sooo amazing. And having Hans Zimmer working with you on your album is absolutely legendary stuff

This is the second time RAYE & Hans have worked together. In 2023 they made “Mother Nature” for the Planet Earth lll documentary

This is THE BEST music video I’ve ever seen. And this song is a masterpiece. The imagery of her literally lying on the floor and just can’t make herself get up. Literally calling her girls with an SOS. I’m drowning and I need your help. And then by the end she’s found her strength and is healing. Just gorgeous!

I think there are a lot of cinematic references here as well - Wizard of Oz (red shoes), Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins and the ending is pure Sound of Music.  And what do all those timeless classics have in common - strong independent women.  Brave Raye!  You are amazing.

In a world of AI BS can we just take a moment for a standing ovation of human creativity and talent. Than god for Raye, Hanz, and every musician involved in this project. This is absolutely the album we needed right now. 👏

I guess the abstract type of formation in this song, is as wonderfully unpredictable as Bohemian Rhapsody would've been to that generation in the 1970s listening to it for the first time.

I have been listening to this incredible album non stop since it came out. This track is one of my favourites on the album. She has such range and there is no other vocalist like her right now.

Imagine a Rosalia and raye featuring ❤😍

I was waiting for your reaction! Honestly I feel like any musician/singer react to this the same way 😂 like “what the hell is happening right now?” And then tears. Literally tears. 🙏🏻

“WHAT IS HAPPENING” is me every SINGLE time she releases a new piece. If you haven’t already heard it, listen to her Royal Albert Hall album- especially Escapism. It’s INSANE.

Raye is really the BEST!
Such musical talent doesn't happen often nowadays. Nothing compares to what she's doing now <3

I am glad to be alive in the era of RAYE! I’m 68 and she’s amazing. Going to go see her very soon!!
