her flying with the music note is so symbolic of music being an escape for her, a saviour, its beautiful.

Raye is flawless on rap, skat, spoken word and pretty much everything in between. She is 🔥

That first part of the music video is basically like shes been so depressed and alone in her house that she has become part of it or like shes being swallowed by it, (stuck to the wall, in the couch under the pillow, becoming a table…)

cuz RAYE WROTE FOR BEYONCE😶😶

RAYE  definitely deserves the album of the year at the Grammys 🔥

The video reflects the healing process from post-traumatic depression, where all you want to do is stay locked up at home, in the dark and alone. She stayed locked up at home for so long that she became part of it, so she became the furniture itself. This song transitions between the sad winter inside the house until she blossoms again in the spring when her friends, through emotional support, manage to get her out of the house to start over.

the water on the face relates to the lyrics at the time talking about the waterproof mascara she can recommend from all the tears

Her girls get down on the floor with her, to get on her level because they can all rise as a group.  But even if you get dressed up and ready to go, you still have to get past that door.  It's the final step.

And when she does get out, Raye and her girls are out and dancing like nobody is watching, a release that she needed to feel in order to feel alive again.  And from there, she goes and spreads that joy, that support, to let everyone know that it's OK to be down, but that you will find a way to get out of your own head and fly once again.

I think having lyrics on hand would help with understanding a song better

She has all the makings of a star.
An incredible voice, amazing charisma, and to top it all off, she's very beautiful.

When I see Raye upside down on the chair at the beginning, she's in the shape of the musical note that features though out the video. No idea if that was the intention, but its what I "saw"

Gurl, Raye is 100000000% more talented than Beyonce!

i was waiting for this one. Raye co-wrote a lot of Beyonce's songs for years now. she might have got influenced by her style or we have been getting glimpse of Raye through other artist all that time without us knowing

I was at her show in January and it is SOOOO INCREDIBLE and this song is crazy live ! Perfection! ❤

During her tour Raye has said this song is very hard to sing live, because there so many notes and lavers coming over each line. Saw her in Manchester and she said this before she sung it.

Raye has now performed this song live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert 😊

I just realized the note carrying her up into the skies in her red dress is maybe symbolic to her leaning in music during her toughest moments in life. Like the the tiny violin pill she takes in the music video Escapism.

This song is a masterpiece, such a blend of genre, incredible production, vocals, lyrics, video. Perfect

what i noticed is that in the begining when shes upsidedown SHES RESEMBLING THE MUSICAL NOTES INVADING EARTH IN THE INTRO AHHH
