I'm part of the team pressing the vinyl for this album in the UK. I've probably heard the whole album 90+ times over the past couple of months during testing. I'm a 58 year old man and this track gets me every single time. Lifeboat is a killer too.
I took my 41 year old son to her concert in Boston. After the concert I asked him what he thought. He'd never heard her before other than Where is my husband on the radio. He paused and said it was the best concert he'd ever been to. I'm 62 and I get emotional practically every time I listen to her. Thanks for the reaction.
i’m an avid reaction watcher of music and it pains me that people don’t feel the music the way i do or at least appreciate it. it’s nice seeing people actually LISTENING to the music and all the little intricacies in the background that really shape the body of work
The HOPE in music really is what Raye was appying to the album. Even the sad songs, they contain hope. The album is divided into 4 seasons (Vivaldi's 'Winter' does show up interwoven with a song too) and Click Clack is the second song in the winter section, another reason for the dark filming and grey skies, Raye was freezing in that street scene. The first section of the album is Autumn.
The reason that you’re getting emotional is because thats the POWER of Hans Zimmer music. Mixed with her iconic words and his legendary music…..this song is a masterpiece. 🔥🥹
I'm a 50 year old man and it got me just as bad when I first heard it a couple of weeks ago, and it still gets me. I'm a HUGE Hans Zimmer fan too, what an incredible collaboration!
Raye connects with people. I never respond to the the mean spirited people who dismiss her. She is helping so many people. As she says 'Even if only for a moment everything will be alright'.
If you listen to the album, you go from this to I Know Your Hurting and then to Lifeboat. It's quite a ride and you will definatley need something to wipe the tears away
When I was a teen in the 80s I saw a PBS show called Millennium that he scored. I became enthralled by his music MOST ESPECIALLY his African choir work in POWER OF ONE, LION KING, A PLACE APART...and more.
I could say soooo much about not just this song but the entirety of the album, unfortunately, other than the word Grammy, I am rendered speechless after every listen.
Bawled listening to RAYE - 'Click Clack Symphony.' feat. Hans Zimmer (Reaction)
