This show feels like Riverdale but without the joy or the ploycule

thank god

I did unfortunately see the bathtub scene when it aired and it definitely scarred me. Like who okayed that? Especially considering she dies of an OVERDOSE in the books, and they chose to do THAT instead?

Also please do the rest of the show as well

The mop scene was genuinely one of the most horrific things I’ve ever seen in my life 😭😭

Approximately every 7-10 business days I remember this show and take a moment to think about the fact that Tony is supposed to be their age. He is a 40-year-old man.

“Clay you cant be saving depressed  women you are the depressed woman” 🤣

Just going to comment “New game?” on every single one of your videos from now on lmao

This show has literally ruined lives tysm for your service, you deserve a medal

I remember reading the book and thinking oh wow this is pretty crazy and then the show came out and it waslike they decided to smoke crack and just throw stuff in there and see what happens

the damage this show did, only for them to push forward with season after season

Gurl it gets SO MUCH WORSE with season 2. Like do we not remember Tyler getting raped with a broom by the jocks and turning into a school shooter as revenge? It gets sooo bad and so crazy.

Also the seaeon that totally humanizes and forgives Bryce for being a serial rapist is insane. Im all for restorative justice and im anti carceral. But like, the handling of Bryce is sooooo bad where its just like "aww hes such a sad bean we should forgive him for all the rapes."

Didn't watch the series, didn't read the book, and that might have been one of the best decisions I made as a teen.

I was already a young adult when I watched this show. But I was a depressed teenager who used to self-harm and when the s*ic*de scene happened , I had to call my friends because I was so angry. I knew the harm it could cause. It was basically a step-by-step guide.

I will NEVER forget the original suicide scene dude

Not the first time Carley has thought a tragedy could be avoided by putting the troubled teen girl in theatre/improv, but she IS always right about it

When I was in high school (when this show first aired) I cut my wavy brown hair into a blunt long bob (just like hannah) and I with my full chest posted a selfie to instagram and captioned it “hi I’m [full name] and these are the 13 reasons why I cut my hair” ?????? Why did I do this????

i really love the death of a salesman repetition throughout carly's thirteen reasons why videos it really adds a certain jennies (je ne sais quoi) to them

To be honest, seeing Hannah’s s**cide scene stopped me from doing anything when I was a s****dal teenager. The thought of my mum finding me the way Hannah’s mum found her, and of my parents having to go through what Hannah’s parents went through, really put a stop to my plans

"new game?" is the new "will we die, just a little?"
