Note to self: Glas-GOH, not Glas-GOWE.

I feel like the weirdest part is that Johnny Depp's Wonka, who I feel had the highest chance of being a serial killer, had the lowest body count.

The real dead children are the ones Willy Wafton put into the Wonkamatronics.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN MUSICAL WONKA ACTUALLY KILLED CHILDREN!?

@Bobcanfixit 2 months ago

Depending on how good of a lawyer Wonka has, he may not have killed any kids at all

in the U.K version, for those who don't know, Gloop is rolled out in the part of the pipe he got stuck in. He had drowned. And violet had
exploded

I think the reason those conspiracy theories about Willy Wonka exist is because of the 1971 movie not only making Wonka suspiciously cryptic, but deciding NOT to show the 4 leaving the factory 😬

Why is the Broadway version so horrifying

@Joseph_Drew_III 2 months ago

Let's be real, the conditions the kids are in when they leave should easily qualify for ATTEMPTED murder

So glad that Willy's Chocolate Experience hasn't been forgotten, it's my favorite scam disaster

@RakoonCD 2 months ago

Nestle Wonka definitely has blood on his hands.

Fun fact, for the 2005 film, there was concept art where the Oompa Loompas would be wheeling out a giant not-moving Augustus-shaped piece of chocolate for Augustus’s ultimate fate

Honestly, he only gives the Factory to Charlie because he knows about the impending lawsuit and criminal investigations.

Fun fact Roald Dahl fought in world war 2 as a fighter pilot and after that he started writing that's why most of his books are disturbing

I think the mom had a stroke at realizing what’s happening to her son 💀

In my mind if Wonka thought he could kill those kids without the parents attacking him he would have

It’s also so funny to me that when it moved from London to Broadway, they actually cut Violet’s execution song (It’s called “Juicy” for those curious) but still decided the murder was OK. Like they knew it was too far but didn’t actually cut the murder

If I had a nickel every time a purple guy with the name Will was accused of murdering children, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot , but it's weird to happened twice

i hate that the stage show kills them because I'm like. its not the kids fault its the parents. they're irrevocably changed in all other versions, but they can still recover. on stage its like "your daughter chews too much gum now she exploded lol" it just feels less silly and I did not expect it when I first saw the show
