Ah yes my favourite form of an April Fools.
They double fool you by making you think it’s an April Fools only to be revealed to be real. Brilliant

"i'm not fallin for that shi-WAIT IT'S REAL???"

I can’t believe Project 06 is actually almost finished. To think that this fan project started in 2017. The fact that we’re about to see the final release 9 years later is insane. 06 was special to me because this was the last game that contained any semblance of the old 3D era of Sonic. To finally have a good playable version means a lot to me.

LOL

I forgot it was April Fools I thought this was just a  clickbait thing

ChaosX: i refuse to lose on my own game
Controller: bet

Sonic P-06 really shows the potential Sonic 06 always had if given more development time thanks Chaos X and Stelmo for always showcasing this gem!

It would be cool if for Omega’s melee attack he gets the same missiles to shoot out his hands as some of the enemies to sorta emulate his attack in Sonic Heroes. I also love what you did with Sonic and Shadow’s animations their speed even looks faster

ChaosX is so damn talented the models are gorgeous and stay within the artstyle of the game

GTA 6 : ❎
Project 06: ✅

I'm sorry, all this amazing shit is only FIFTEEN PERCENT OF WHAT THE FINAL RELEASE IS PLANNED TO BE?! This is about to be the best Sonic game of all time, if not the greatest fangame, period.

Glad ChaosX is taking his time, cause HOLY SHIT 0:52 this looks gorgeous! Last release will be an event that's for sure!

this is what the base game was like to me as a kid

What a thrilling Resident Evil 4 race! ChaosX's victory speech almost made me tear up...

Joking aside, thank you both for the extended sneak peek! If this is just 15% of what the full update is, I can't even imagine what it'll be once completed! Take your time Chaos!

We really have to appreciate the fact he split EVERY MODEL into tinier pieces to improve optimization via occlusion culling. That's mad dedication and tedious work!

27:29 "Calc is short for calculator. I was using slang" ahh part

IT WASNT A JOKE

I was so confused when I skipped a little and was like why does sonic look like that.

WELP, YOU HAD US AT THE START, HAPPY APRIL FOOLS 😅

it's ironic that chaos mentioned that blaze's claw attack feels usles, but for the final section of AB in team attack amigo, using the claw attack could probably have been faster. It's true you don't normally go out of your way to use, but it can have use cases for it

Bold move of chaosx to unlock 06's true potential by turning it into og RE4

it's funny how with all the animation upgrades sonic still has that t-pose run
