Doctor: You only have 5 hours and 17 minutes left to live.

Me:

I was SO JACKED for Rob Zombie’s “Halloween”! I saw it in the theater, and I LOVED it!!! Then I heard he was doing “Halloween II”,and I couldn’t get to the theater FAST ENOUGH…then…I couldn’t erase “Halloween II” from my mind FAST ENOUGH!!!

I have never felt such a deep connection to another human being as I did watching your Jamie Lloyd rant. I’ve gone on tirades about the treatment of fictional characters myself, more times than I can count.

Laurie and Jamie in the same Halloween the real actresses would've been epic

Halloween is a masterpiece, but I always found part 2 to be much scarier. The hospital setting really made everything claustrophobic and because there weren't many other patients, it felt isolating. I also thought the mask, because it was stretched and discolored, it was more menacing. It also did a good job of feeling like it was a continuation, so I cannot think of 1 without thinking of 2. I also prefer that Laurie his Michael's sister, because to me, it makes absolutely no sense why Michael goes after Laurie specifically after 40 years. She is just some woman with no more ties to him than anyone else that encountered Michael and didn't die. Why her? To me, the sister angle made it as if Michael was the Terminator that doesn't stop until he kills Laurie (Sarah Connor). And that made it scarier, because you knew she always had to be on her feet, she had to confront him. Laurie could have totally avoided Michael if he has no specific reason for going after her. It's almost like he's like " well, if I run into her, I'll kill her, otherwise I couldn't care less."  But, if the blood ties was drawing him to her, it meant that even if Laurie left Haddonfield, Michael would find her, like he does in H20. Without the relationship, she could have moved and never encountered him again, because he'd only kill in one place.

Your passion for Jamie Lloyd is beautiful. I whole heartedly agree!!!!

Watching it all. Longform content is good for you and your fellow strugglers.

Michaels full name, and most people don't know this, is Michael Audrey muthafuckin Myers. His parents knew from the start this boy will go on to do big things. Maybe not good things. But big things.

On that timeline part, in the words of Solaire, "The flow of time itself is convoluted; with heroes centuries old phasing in and out. The very fabric wavers, and relations shift and obscure."

Young John Carpenter was up there with Kubrick in making phenomenal movies

I also really enjoyed Halloween III. It’s a solid movie in its own right.

“Samantha in the devil-costume.” I see you too are a man of culture.

That was an epic “justice for Jamie Lloyd” rant.

RIP Donald Pleasance.

Halloween is just a fantastic movie. The music, pacing, acting. It happens to be a horror movie but it’s great

When I was growing up we used to have a sleepover every Halloween and we would rent every Halloween film (from Movie Gallery lol) and watch them overnight (when we started H20 wasnt unleashed yet thank god. My favorite horror films for sure, always makes me laugh now but as a kid the scariest part to me was the end of Halloween 4

I just found you today.  You were in my algorithm because I watch a lot of horror movie reviews.  As a fan of the Halloween movies, I appreciate the work you put into this.  I watched this in one sitting and I can only imagine the amount of time spent watching, note taking, and editing.  Great job.

This gon b a long one boys, I'll see u in 5 hrs

You have no idea how much I appreciate this especially it being 5 hours long while listening at work.

I have watched very few horror movies in my life and none of them have been any of the Halloween movies but god damn it out of sheer respect for the amount of effort you must have put in this video ama watch it to the end.
This one is for you Ryan

I just discovered you and immediately subscribed!  Totally agree concerning Jamie Lloyd.  Her character and Danielle’s acting tore my heart out.  Almost frightening how good it is.  #Teamjamielloyd all the way :)

I always thought of Dr. Loomis as a Van Helsing type from the OG Dracula movies. Old guy trying to stop the cool killer type. Glad to see you finally giving us the long hard one! 😈🔥💗🤘😎

This was an in depth and epic Halloween franchise review. Well done!!
