This idiot shouldn't be allowed back into the game. He deliberately cheated IN MULTIPLE EVENTS. There's no place for cheaters in this game, especially on the competitive circuit. He needs to be banned permanently. No defending it. He should have never been allowed back to begin with
It only devolved into community outrage because FLG refused to listen to their constituents. Warnings about this player have been given to FLG for years, and the player in question has been a known quantity locally for a decade. I'm not sure what the expectation was when exasperated players had been ignored for so long. I believe in second chances. I don't believe in 18th chances.
A person that has paid all the fees should be able to play a tournament without having to worry about cheaters. They should have the right to not play against a known cheater.
If people who've cheated actually enjoy warhammer, as a game, and not just as a vehicle to stoke their fragile egos, they can continue to play casually with people who know them and are willing to put up with them. They're not entitled to participate in competitive play.
WILLIAM ABILEZ. HIS NAME IS WILLIAM ABILEZ. spread the name everywhere. im so sick of the cheaters names and photos not being posted at every tournament.
Had a guy that was cheating at a narrative Heresy event. He was also part of our. TTRPG group so we gave him the benefit of the doubt. A year or so later it finally comes out he was also cheating at that table as well. If someone is willing to cheat in one aspect of life, you can bet they will do it in others. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I believe everyone deserves a second chance, but when it comes to this level of play, and the fact he did it again, several times even?! Yeah, no. Out.
This dude terrorizes our local hobby store 😭 but he's allowed to play casually, ONLY casual games, even then I hear problems and I believe he's gotten warnings about his behavior.
Let's try something that will actually get TO's to not only agree on a global ban list, but make them permanent. When you go to one of these tournaments, you pay money. That is to pay for the tournament, prize pool, etc. The agreement in that payment is that the winner of the tournaments will be one who played fairly against someone who did the same. This is adjudicated via the judge in the case of disputes. So there's ALL these safeguards in place, yet a TO will allow a known cheater to attend anyway, jeopardizing the integrity of the tournament people...remember this...PAID MONEY FOR. Sounds to me like a little bit of breach of contract. Something a store/org miiiight not want to be held civilly liable for. Maybe THAT will get these people to take ban lists seriously.
Banned 40k cheater tried to return to tournaments... it did not go well
