INTERPOL links together the law enforcement agencies of 196 nations using a colour-coded notice system. The most urgent? The Red Notice; essentially a global wanted poster. There are currently over 70,000 Red Notices in INTERPOL's database, with around 6,500 in active circulation on the website. Today, I'll be covering 4 of their most wanted men and women — those with the highest bounties and the darkest stories.

“He could be hiding out in Portugal, the Caribbean, South America or Africa”? So he might be hiding out on planet earth somewhere?

"sentenced to 170 years in prison. he was released after 20" WHAAAAAT???!!!

It's insane that there's a statute of limitations on crimes as horrible as torturing people to death. What kind of dip shit came up with that law?

Would love to see this turned into a series and maybe talk about the other color notices too, bring these names and stories more into the mainstream, might help Interpol more this way.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Normann Volker Franz is laying low in Brazil. He speaks Portuguese, there’s a large German community in the country, no extradition treaty.

Bro how did no one catch that woman 💀 "Ah yes, this lady has had like 17 husbands and they all died violently, this is not suspicious at all"

@sblinder1978 11 months ago

I thought a Red Notice was like a high-priority search for a criminal that meant police internationally were actively turning over everything to find their subject, this sounds more like an "arrest and extradite this guy if he shows up" thing.

I feel like there should be a new category on YouTube called "the cops did nothing about it", where it's just stories about people having the most violent acts done to them, and justice was never served because those donuts were just too nice.
