🚐⛴️ *IS IRISH FERRIES CLUB CLASS REALLY WORTH THE EXTRA COST?*

Come along with us as we set off from home in our *Swift Kon-Tiki 649 motorhome* and make our way down to Dover for our journey across the Channel with **Irish Ferries**.

This time we're travelling aboard the **Oscar Wilde**, heading from **Calais to Dover**, and we've decided to upgrade our crossing to **Club Class**.

But was it worth paying the extra?

We wanted to find out exactly what you get for your money, and whether the Club Class experience genuinely makes a difference when you're travelling in a motorhome.

Once onboard, we head straight for the **exclusive Club Class Lounge**, where things get a little more comfortable. The lounge offers comfortable seating, panoramic sea views, free Wi-Fi, complimentary soft drinks and snacks, a selection of wines, freshly prepared artisan baguettes, French cheeses and other refreshments.

On the Dover–Calais route, Club Class also includes complimentary hot meal options, giving you the chance to sit back, relax and enjoy something to eat without having to queue in the main passenger areas. There’s also a *10% discount on selected items in the onboard shop* (with some exclusions).

And honestly... we really enjoyed it!

For us, the biggest attraction wasn't simply the food and drinks. It was having a **quiet, comfortable space to relax**, enjoying the views, having plenty of room to sit together and being able to make the crossing feel much more like part of the holiday rather than simply a way of getting from A to B.
