What should've been a fairly standard three-and-a-quarter hour Stena Line crossing between Holyhead and Dublin turned into a MASSIVE endurance test as we battled bad weather in the Irish Sea.
Join me for this trip on Stena Line's MV Stena Nordica as I show you the inside and outside of the ship. We'll have a look at the passenger facilities on board, the outside deck provision, the food and drink etc and of course, I'll tell you how much it all cost.
But apart from all that, I'll show you what happened when bad weather struck. We'll discuss the potential reasons that led to severe delays and also, how Stena Line handled it.
I must say, I have more questions than answers on this one and I'm hoping you can shed some light into the possible reasons why the weather seemed to affect our ship more than any of the others!
I'm really looking forward to reading your comments on this one guys and as always, your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to watch this content, I do hope you enjoy it.
Cheers for now,
Mark

That was a really rough day down at the port. Took us ages to get the ship alongside and Nordica was berthed in irish ferries linkspan which never happens. So the settings on the linkspan had to be changed and dropped to the correct height and we couldn't use the upper ramp either. Was just a disaster of a night.
