If you are following our Facebook page, you will see I have recently found an alternative to the icecube trays in the video. Kmart currently has icecube trays that are larger (fitting a whole egg) and are flexible to help pop them out.

I may try making the scrambled egg ice cubes and then vacuum-seal the cubes so they will keep longer in the freezer. I do that with extra cream, milk, and even lemon juice. Keeping the cubes in a zip bag ends up with a short freezer life as they do get frosty but in vacuum sealed bags they keep for months.

LOVE the no nonsense attitude,. great video,. thanks for sharing in this day and age when the chicken farmers are not doing well with the bird flu,. <3

Great video, I too am going to start this asap! Thanks heaps 😊

Thank you!  I am relieved to know that I can keep eggs for future use.  ❤

Hello from Texas.  Nice to meet you.  Thank you for the tips.  Have a blessed weekend.

Very useful tips. Thank you

Great video 😊 thanks for the tips!
I haven’t had a lot of success with freezing my excess eggs, so I will be giving these methods a try ❤

Now I just need my hens to stop hiding their eggs

Hey!!! Is this ever neat!  We don't have chickens yet - but we are excited to get them one day.  I have wondered about what you would do with an overabundance of eggs... Nice job- love your channel!!

What a awesome video!!!
We are starting this today😀
Question: just doing the math……would you use 2 cubes of frozen egg per egg required?
Thanks for sharing your awesome tip. 🌺

HI New friend here Adelaide. Great idea

Awesome tip! I'm definitely going to do this! I assume that with those trays about 2 cubes = 1 egg? 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Oh good one 🙌🙌 can the egg whites be defrosted and used in something like meringue?

Tried  it and i couldn't  get them out of ice tray do i spray the  tray first?

Thank you for sharing I was wondering how to save eggs as I cant bring myself to buy them 😂 do they last you till spring?

Hi! Thank you! Can you explain to me more about the salt/sugar in the yoke freeze. Is that a whole tablespoon measured into each cube?

Thanks. I've been wanting to do this for ages. Don't have cookies yet, but will do it with store bought and gifted backyard chooky  eggs.

Does one cube equal 1 yolk for recipes? Icecube trays tend to differ a bit in size it would be good to know the average weight in grams of an egg Icecube so you know how many you need for a recipe.

So I did that trick with my extra eggs and I still had some gelatinized egg bits. Does that just happen? Does this mean I need to mix it better? I have found that if I spray the mold before I pour the eggs in they come out wonderfully.
