Based on the thumbnail, white collar metalheads are John Wick.

White collar = Prog / Goth / Symphonic / Heavy metal
Blue collar = Death / Doom / Grind / Speed metal
Unemployed = Black metal

I just started a new job in a government office, and found another metalhead via some patches on his bag. We then talked extreme metal in the middle of the office. It made my day.

Metal has it's roots buried in the blue collar worker. Where it all started with Ozzy and Sabbath in Birmingham. Iommi's very fingers demonstrates that fact.

I'm white collar, and love thrash, power metal, glam metal, hard rock etc.

Hehe, as someone who has worked white collar jobs forever and has loved metal for over 20 years, this was a treat.

That windmill headbanging meme at the beginning had me 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I work mostly office jobs but keep a spare metal shirt and hat in my car so I can quickly change before shows. I have seen a few dudes in suits and ties at shows but they have a great time in the pit. Metalheads from all backgrounds enjoying gigs together is a beautiful thing.

Working for one of the biggest companies in the world and we have official headbangers club with our own merch and slack channel

It doesn’t matter if you’re blue collar or white collar. If you have 100+ band t shirts and only one pair of jeans and one pair of camo shorts you’re a metal head.

When I go to metal shows, I wear my business casual cubicle outfit. Nothing makes me angrier than being reminded of my grey-blue cube walls

I work a white collar job but the area I live in requires blue collar skills and ingenuity to survive. Part of being in a rural area of the state. I can do my desk job 8 hours a day but still know how to tear apart a carburetor when I get home. I also used to work blue collar and still feel more comfortable in steel toes most of the time.

I can totally relate. Spent many years as a butcher, then became an accountant.

Great video. Love your regular new releases content, but always especially love these deeper think pieces. Keep 'em coming!

Dude in the pit probably drank all the beer beforehand but kept holding on to the can so he wouldn't feel the urge to hold onto something else, like someone's dreadlocks

Been in construction since I was 17. PPE is important absolutely but in my experience even the best PPE isn’t functional for certain jobs. Always wear your brain bucket and be safe. I wish I would have had these ear plugs early in my career.

Good video Jon

The dude in the pit reminds of the lady in rhe pit wearing a dress and flats. That was all during Machine Head and Killswitch Engage. Definitely brutal.
