Flushed Away is a DreamWorks movie about being flushed away, but does it hold up to our modern standards of cinema? No, but it's still fun either way.

Flushed Away - 2006
After an ignoble landing in Ratropolis, a pampered rodent (Hugh Jackman) enlists the help of a sewer scavenger (Kate Winslet) in finding his way back to his posh London flat. Getting home is not the only problem, however; a rodent-hating toad (Ian McKellen) wants his notorious cousin, Le Frog (Jean Reno), to exterminate the pair.

KEEP YOUR LEGS STRAIGHT WHEN YOU HIT THE WATER is the most useful tip I ever got from a movie

2 things
1) as a Brit it physically hurt to hear them trying to work out our sayings
2) I had a mate who was bullied by someone who looked like the main rat and he pissed on the bullies bike

This movie came out in a year when talking animals dominated the animated films in movie theaters. There was no escaping the trend, except Monster House which you covered and Pixar’s Cars.

Hearing Brendan trying to say "You just lost the game" in French and it comes out as "You just lost the juice" freaking killed me.
(two years later: this comment seems mean. I swear this wasn't supposed to be mean ^^')

The Movie was Originally Going to Be Aardman’s Traditional Stop-Motion Animation. But their Studio Burned Down with all of their resources, so they had to downgrade to Computers

There is a surprising lack of toilet humor in this movie.

Did not expect to be sucker punched like that so early in my god.

@krisrosem8543 5 years ago

9:48 "have a cheese puff have another your supposed to eat them." That killed me I didn't realize how stupid that joke was

I love the absurdist humor of Flushed Away and enjoy the movie.

@8:09 It actually makes perfect sense how The Frog would make it out of the sewer and wouldn't die, because he's an amphibian so he could easily swim out from the sewer

The title makes me confused. Why would we forget about a masterpiece like this?
