basically what they're gonna do is dance

i love how danny's talking about chad and ryan switching clothes but he himself has drew gooden merch on

the ending was actually really sweet seeing the person troy was based on, then getting interrupted with troy sliding across the floor saying YEAAAAAAAA

wdym this video is a year old now

Danny may not deliver but he’s always pregnant

Hey unintentionally your videos are actually pretty accessible for my blind partner - because you describe the scenes while setting up your jokes I don't have to really explain much visual nuance. I don't think it's intentional but we appreciate it

my favorite high school musical fun fact is that the night HSM2 aired was the same night phineas and ferb first aired, leading to them both becoming disney channel's most viewed show and movie. which also means that ashley tisdale has been apart of a record breaking disney project twice within minutes of each other

Fun fact: it takes about 45 minutes to bake a batch of creme brulee so that means the school was singing for over 45 minutes 😭

Failed to mention the iconic coach Bolton moment “what the heck are those two doing in a tree”

Troy being threatened by Ryan’s closeness with Gabriella would be a lot more convincing if Ryan wasn’t obviously very gay.

danny is really bold telling zac efron to get contacts for his terrifying blue eyes when he himself has been subjecting me to HIS terrifying blue eyes for years now

this video is peak Danny Gonzalez content. it's got everything: the jokes, the skits, the dancing conspiracy, and even the irony of "what's up guys i'm 16" becoming a viral sound while his actual attempt at one completely flopped

13:45 YOURE WRONG, DANNY. He wanted to bake the PERFECT crème brûlée not A crème brûlée

Fun fact, Coach Bolton’s actor was SHOCKINGLY young (only 36) when filming the first film, and a theory that a lot of fans have is that he was actually in high school when he had Troy, and was a basketball star, but had to stop playing to take care of his son, which is why he is so adamant about Troy staying focused on basketball, and  staying away from girls, so he can live vicariously through his son.

Those bonus songs are so freakin' catchy. I have to stop myself from singing "a little boy drowned in the pool (oh no!) a little boy drowned in the pool (no!)" in public on the regular

We all know that Troy is only dating Gabriella for her mom's brownies

6:25 correction: that’s not the drama class, ms. darbus is the drama teacher but that’s their homeroom, which is why she’s trying to convince them to try out for the musical and why the scene is so short. also why she teaches the same kids for all three movies

ah, high school musical. my favourite accidental allegory for bisexuality

Danny complaining about Zac's piercing blue eyes while his eyes are staring right into my soul is so funny to me.
