Tyson says i always have a plan until i get punched in the face

It's not about where he ranks all time. He's probably like Robert duran. But live this style. Almost wrestling more like a street fight

Stallone stole his whole act

Marciano knew he couldn’t give any time to let Charles get up because he knows how much of a monster Charles was that’s why he ran to his corner to let the count start as soon as possible because Charles knocked out Syatterfeild in two rounds in 1954 right before the fight with Marciano for God’s sake and Williams and Marshal said Statterfeild hit harder than Liston

Rocky greatest of great never said I am great give credit to rocky champion of century

... sidn leider keine 4 oz-Handschuhe...

Short reach, bad footwork, but relentless! A proud man tough enough! I'm proud to b be half Italian!

Long lives  marciano  greatest of great joe louise said champion of century  ali said i dont know if i can beat him with his style

over the last several years rocky fans are finally starting to learn that little 5' 10" 185lb rocky with the shortest aka tiniest reach in boxing history is virtually impossible to defend vs. today's 240+lbs monsters

If Marciano had come along five years earlier or five years later. He would have been an average fighter.

There is only one greatest. Ali is the greatest heavyweight ever. Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest boxer ever. Respect to Rocky. He was a great for sure.

❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

I think that the person that make the cuestion about the era of marciano vs today he has to realize  that people at that time were at average smaller than today back then a  6'6"was considered a giant even  in the sport of basketball so the comparison is unrealistic.

Louis Walcott Charles Moore already had "'409"' fights (68, 68, 95, 178) and they had already been fighting professionally for "'74"' years (17, 22, 15, 20) before they faced Marciano. Ailing Charles went 14-5 and Walcott went 17-7 just before they faced Marciano. Add their losses vs. Marciano and Charles went 14-7 and Walcott went 17-9. That's not prime, it's mathematically and physically impossible.

According to Marciano himself, Muhammad Ali would have won. Rocky said three boxers in his lifetime were a bridge too far for him, a young Joe Louis, Sonny Liston, and Ali. Louis for hand speed and power, Ali for pure speed, and Liston for technical excellence and pure brute strength. - Rocky Marciano, Mike Stanton, Johnathan Eig, Monte D. Cox Boxing Historian, Fight City and (free/online).

This information is HUGE and settles any debate as to who could beat who! Marciano factually said he could not beat prime Louis, prime Liston and prime Ali.

If his punching power is “ overrated “ how is it he was undefeated??

Marciano fanboys will tell you that Jersey Joe was an all time great and at the peak of his powers vs Marciano. The pasta fanboys tell us that he improved with age like a fine wine LoL 😆😆😆. They won't tell you he started boxing professionally in 1930 when Marciano was only 7 years old and Walcott was at the very end of a tough career with 18 previous losses before meeting Marciano in 1952. They will certainly not tell you that Walcott fought for the title (6) times and only won (1) of those attempts. Fat light heavyweight Moore was 3 months shy of being 42 yet he still manages to drop the 31 year old Marciano. One year later 21 year old light heavyweight Patterson exposes Moore much easier and much faster than Marciano did. The problem with Marciano fanboys is they really hate facts.

Undefeated Packey McFarland had 75 wins 0 losses. I repeat, Packey McFarland had 75 wins 0 losses. Ray Robinson had 92 consecutive wins. Cesar Chavez had 89 consecutive wins. Jimmy Wilde had 93 and Willie Pep had 62. Len Wickwar had 470 total bouts. Maxie Rosenbloom had 298 bouts. Billy Bird had 260. Sam Langford had 249. Willie Pep had 241. Archie Moore had 220. Ray Robinson had 200. Henry Armstrong had 182 and the list goes on and on with Rocky Marciano clear down towards the bottom with a mere 49 bouts.

Gotta remember little Rocky's era was directly after WW2 and during the Korean war when most these guys were amateur Golden glovers construction workers cab drivers dishwashers and bakers that were just fighting for room and board and a hot meal. A hundred million Americans still didn't own a radio let alone a Television. Smallest division in boxing history, when the light heavyweights ruled the so called 175+lbs cruiserweight division.

Everyone on planet earth can clearly see with their own eyes that little Rocky's punching power is extremely overrated. He hits his opponents hundreds of times with little to no effect. If little Rocky was all-Powerful why didn't he ever break any bones? He never broke one rib, one nose, one eye-socket, one collar bone, one jaw or detached one retina. If he did i assure you every single Rocky fan on the planet would have been talking about it for decades.

Only reason Rocky's KO against Walcott was so great is bcz he caught Walcott precisely on the point of his chin which snap-twisted his head around more than 90° cutting oxygen off instantaneously (one in a thousand shot). Little 5' 9" 184 lb Rocky catches lightning in a bottle ONE time and his fans automatically assume he's the Most Powerful puncher that ever lived.

Rocky's Entire legacy has been built around that ONE KO against a guy that was 38/39 if not older and had already lost 4½ prime years from Feb 1940 to Jun 1944 bcz he was brutally KO'd by 260 lb Giant Abe Simon and was unconscious for 4 minutes. It wasn't a voluntary retirement, it was a 'Forced' retirement.

Just before Low-Power Journeyman Joe Walcott gets KO'd by Rocky where are his hands? Both hands are at waist level. Why? Because Walcott's reflexes were no longer instinctive. Father time waits for no one!
