Tyson was only a short guy in the heavyweight division, but look what he did...

It's not height Larry with all due respect, it's all about heart, will and determination, and that's what Marciano was all about.

Love to hear legends like Holmes talk boxing . Even as old as he is today, still very confident. Holmes had the best jab. But Rocky Marciano was a beast who was a workaholic in training . Had the longest training regime of anybody in his day. Throughout his career, Marciano remained undefeated. Much respect to both.

Holmes was a beast in his prime. Rocky was a oak tree that nobody brought down.

It's easy to say he couldn't beat me until you have the hardest puncher ever buzz-sawing non stop for 15 rounds.

IDK how an actual fight would’ve played out between Larry and Rocky, but it’s crazy to hear Larry say he only seen clips from a few commercials of the man lol. You have to at least watch a few fights of the man prior to making statements like that and after several decades after that statement, he hasn’t watched a single fight of the man 😂😂. Larry was an ATG indeed, but that’s arrogance with a capital a right there lol

A lot fighter's called him a bum and they got a attitude adjustment from Rocky Marciano!

Mike Tyson is only 5 foot 10 inches and he kicked your ASS🤣🤣🤣👍

Larry if ya couldn’t walk down the tiny, under-strengthen  Mike Spinks in two attempts you’re not gunna be able to deal with ROCKY MARCIANO.

Louis J. Marciano

Said the man who lost twice to a light heavyweight, Micheal Spinks.  All the true greats from Louis, Ali, Tyson, Frazier & Foreman are on public record praising Marciano as one of the all-time best.  Their words are sincere & based on the knowledge of being a world class boxer. Marciano's opponents like Moore, Walcott & Charles all have said the same regarding Rocky's stature as an elite fighter & devastating puncher. Anyone can look up what they said.

That's right Louis, let's not forget that Holmes is the only Heavyweight Champion in History to lose his title to a lightheavyweight Champion. Larry's just exactly what Ali said he was, A PEANUT HEAD.
Might I add, a loud mouth as well.
We all remember what Tyson did to Larry, it would have been twice as bad against Marciano.

There’s a reason why there’s weight classes. Marciano was a light heavyweight. I don’t think any light heavyweight today or in the history of boxing would beat him in 15 round boxing matches. He fought and beat possibly the best light heavyweight of all time— certainly top 2 or 3 LHW of all time Ezzard Charles, who was still in his prime at 33 the two times he fought (& lost to) Marciano.

1 punch from marciano wouldv shut holmes mouth quick

Nobody at 511 is beating him ? I think he forgot about iron Mike Tyson knocking him tf out

Larry was a Great champ.
But was ko'd twice in the amateurs by a 5'10" Texas southpaw Nick Wells.
It ain't the size of the dog in the fight.
It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Ali was friends with Rocky and respected his abilities.
Holmes also lied about Rocky's record, saying he had amateur fights added to his pro record.
He was a bitter, angry guy at the time.
But matured into a really nice fellow.
But Rocky being an easy out,
Good luck with that!

Larry I don’t think you could not beat rocky he can go the distance and you could not and size don’t matter and rocky had heart ❤️ 🤩🤩

size means nothing franco columbu was  5'5" 185lbs benched 525 lbs  larry is in fantisy land  fred turner the famous boxing coach who was black said marciano was the hardest puncher of all time harder than holmes tyson klitsco shavers liston and would've knocked ali out of the ring   alli said he had to stop filming the super fight  w/marciano cuz his arms hurt so bad from just getting tapped by marciano when marciano was 47 y/o .  marciano was a freak had bones of titanim he ate uppercuts like it was candy   tommy morrison was the next marciano and gonna take tyson and the rest down but he got aids  do your research  not about skin color  talent is color blind

Mike Tyson was the same size as Rocky Marciano!

Thanks for post Holmes was the best of his era - master stand up boxer with a piston left jab and great skills. As for Rocky he was the best of his generation also very tough and powerful - what a body puncher.

I think u had best Jab in the biz but you said 5 11 guy you would always beat , didn't Mike drop the hammer on you
