Poor Colin O'Neill barely played again. A good way to go out. He'll always be remembered for this, not only by Motherwell fans but by his folks back home who probably celebrated just as much. What a strike it was.

I remember saying before kirk scored : I don't know what the players are thinking because I can hardly stand up straight. Too many games before when we fell short _ but that was our night. Could do with another glorious day/night anytime soon guys. No pressure : just channel Wark,Pettigrew, O,neill and Kirk.!

I was drinking with Colin on the eve of this year's Cup Final. He's a Motherwell Legend, dining out on this goal to this day and why not?

Great goal by Colin O'Neill. Good to see an Ulsterman sticking it to them. No Surrender.

@tirnaog09 Elliott's goal was disallowed at 0-0, so in no way would that have made it 3-1. It would have made it 1-0 a whole two minutes earlier than Celtic actually did score the opener, so I doubt it would have had a great effect on the outcome.
