SIMON just said exactly what I have been saying 'You cannot not punish them for fear of the consequences of punishing them' The league must hit them so hard, that this never rears its ugly head ever again., This strong stance by the League will only strengthen the PL as the best BECAUSE of its strong governance!

Simon worried about the UAE destroying infrastructure they own in the UK...another reason to never let a country own a football team

Man City, as always kicking the can down the road as long as they can, trying to get away with it as long as they can!

The noisey neighbours are getting an ASBO 😂

Their attempts to fight this, further destroy their reputation and the footballing pyramid. They could completely ruin football… for another 15 years. Boot them.

@SR-kv1ic 2 days ago

They should be punished now, not after appeal, just like Everton and Forest were.

@zsht 2 days ago

Man City would rather destroy English football than admit they cheated.

@JD-xw3tj 2 days ago

They have tainted English football, the last 10-15 years has been a sham. I'd send them under league 2

City think they are above the law.

if found guilty are the owners still deemed fit and proper?

Spare a thought for poor old Southampton - effectively relegated from the Premier League, PLUS a points deduction, PLUS the prospect of losing their manager, all for watching three training sessions.
What's a proportionate punishment for Man City?
I would suggest compulsory winding up for multi-year cheating.
2-tier justice not limited to the police and judiciary in this country it would appear.

Simon always trying to be the brain, making simple things complicated.
They cheated, cheaters cannot be winners. Titles squashed, 100 points deduction and 5 year transfer ban.

Simon is giving City WAY too much credit here, they aren't god they are just a club that cheated. They don't have the power to destroy everything. Relegate them to L1 and slap a 3 years transfer ban on them and move on, maybe ban them from all cup competitions for 3 years as well.

Seems like Simon wants them to get leanient punishment to keep money flowing.
IF the rules are to mean anything, the punishment shoud be so severe that none would dare to try this again.

How many clubs have overspent and struggled because of inflated transfer fees and wages because of what City were doing?
If they go bust then so be it.
Life will go on.

The bare minimum must be removing all trophies won during this period. That was the entire reason they cheated, to buy glory. If they keep those trophies they will view it as worthwhile.

@markroberts1049 2 days ago

Everton 1 charge 10 points. City 114 charges 1140 points simple

@ginge82 2 days ago

They will and should be relegated, the owners booted out like Roman and the legal action from players and clubs will finish them financially. Stay humble City.

On another video, they showed a chart for breaches and points deduction. Lowest was -4pts for one breach. That was the lowest per game, even as an everage, others were higher, even for one game. Using the minus 4 per breach, Man City art up for a 456 points deduction.
