You know how dads proposing to daughters to promise she remains “ pure” and a “ virgin” and how icky that is? That’s same vibe boy moms give me

I was married to a "boy" and his boymom. She wore white to our wedding. Called me a golddigger for wanting a small wedding. Announced her own engagement when we announced ours. Never regretted divorcing them. The peace is deafening.

Holy smokes! 9 k likes! Thank you strangers of the internet ❤

Hearing "I'd k!ll him myself" is so healing as a victim of over 3y of SA from mommy's "boy"

There is so much internalized misogyny within these women.

as a survivor of MDSA, emotional incest is a very real phenomenon and needs to be acknowledged and discussed for what it is. this is child abuse

These are the women that were posting "I'm teaching my son to hit girls back" after women were posting about raising their girls to defend themselves against attackers

The mom who called her son her “husband” is off the deep end

The lady who posted the video about when her son starts to look too much like his dad is horrible. Just imagine a father posting this exact video with his adolescent daughter...

you fully know that if ANY of these boys stood up to their mothers and telling them they are uncomfortable she will manipulate and play victim and claim "you dont love me anymore"

There’s a saying in the black community that we “love our sons, but raise our daughters”. My mother (66 y.o.), noticed this growing up. She and my father made the conscious decision to not treat me any different to my brother. I think this is part of the reason why I have such a good relationship with my mother and younger brother today because he was NEVER favored over me and I could tell that even as a kid.

As a mom to a boy, I get very uncomfy when people refer to me as a “boy mom”

@apollodies 8 months ago

my mom once told me that she was only dating her then-boyfriend because he reminded her of me. "you're just so similar!" like hey, that's weiird

I remember when being a boy mom meant you were queen of the baseball moms, the camping coordinator, the minivan champion, first aid kit carrier, the type of mom to say "rub some dirt in it."

Now its just grody.

There was one video where the boy mom said that when her son is having a bad day she let's him hit his sisters..... literally raising a domestic abuser who thinks it's ok to hit a girl when he's having a bad day and raising her girls to expect that. It was so vile i almost threw my phone across the room

“He will be a major target [in prison]” what like the college women he victimized??

@jamiegdubois 8 months ago

I remember my aunt (a boomer boy mom) telling me that I should hope I have sons instead of daughters because sons are “sooo much easier” (she only has boys so how would she know?) but also said “the only downside is you have to share them with there wives when they get older”. Seriously such a weird conversation…

I’m a girl who’s very close with her dad. When I was a kid I heard the word “sexy” on a Shrek short film and assumed it was a synonym for good looking. Ergo, when my dad was about to take me to an event I said he looked sexy (again, not knowing the connotation) and he shot that shit down IMMEDIATELY, saying “hey it’s not your fault but that’s weird to say mkay”

8:24 my bestie lives in a house like this (not bc of a boymom, but a misogynistic dad) she's expected to do all the chores while her brother does nothing, when her brother doesn't clean up after himself, she'll be blamed for it when her parents come home
