Sorry I cannot help but think this is one of my weaker videos. I always try and explain complex subjects in a very accessible way, but I feel like this one may just not suffice in that regard and may feel a bit vague. Sorry. I tried my best, but next week I have a far more comprehendable subject. Promise.

I think something that MAY factor into shadow magic is that light IS magic on Nirn, it comes from Aetherius through Magnus and the stars. In that sense, a “metaphysical shadow” is like a negative space of magic

So like a 40k warp demon found its way into Tamriel

Still funny to me how if dealing with a daedric prince doesn't work you can just redirect your dark magic to conjure lovecraftian shadow beasts that feed on the deaths caused by war and other catastrophes.

Literally my favorite Elder Scrolls creature EVER 🫶🔥

The part about it's consciousness potentially being linked to the souls lost in war to make it sounds a lot like the Gravemind from Halo...

With that said, Installation 00 did a video about a month ago that basically described a Dragonbreak happening when all the Halos fired. Very interesting stuff.

The Aztecs were the medieval mad max.

I had no idea that Shadow Magic was that deep. Very neat!

I didn't know my ex was in The Elder Scrolls. She kept that secret 😂😂

I saw it as a parallel world to the real world, with everything manifesting as Shadow realm counterparts. This creature is native to this realm, & gorges on the dead shadow people due to the abundance of dead, making it large enough to manifest in the real world, but so alien it can only be fought with star magic

Cool, just when I think I've learned everything there is to know something new (to me) comes along!

The shadow magic is explained well imo, i came into this not understanding it but now i do have a fair understanding. So dont beat yourself up!

Never heard of this. Thanks!

our high school teacher making another complex video...... interesting.

0:01 Hello, Mr. Knowledge.

The very sussy "Middle Earth TM Shadow of War" in the corner:

Can you make a video on staves? Like how they are created, why they are made of wood, why some are metal, why not make them all metal if wood is harder to build? Why not use wands? Why not have swords be staves? Who invented staves? Other ways to create besides heart stones? Etc etv

I have a theory that the Umbra Keth is related to Padomay or Sithis. Considering that it is seemingly a creature born of conflict, chaos, death, and darkness (all very Sithis-y things) I like to think it might be to the Void what less Daedra are to Oblivion (think of a void/padomay-based Dremora) or maybe a specific servant of Sithis like Aurorans are to Meridia.
I admittedly have no evidence of this, my conjecture is purely vibes-based.

Shadow magic sounds very woo-woo. Enjoyable explanation, thank you 🙏🏿

Super alluring and interesting lore, i must play all the elder scrolls games
