Great video! The gameplay was really illustrative. The book seems to tell you what to do every time you have a journey encounter much like a boardgame. I think I would prefer to summon the location and the challenge/conflict myself using the random spark tables and then decide myself what skills I'd be able to use to overcome it.
Enjoyed the listen. The full two hours! I’m looking to get into it but I’ve never role played before. You were talking about forgetting stuff and man I get bogged down playing Kinfire delve the card game. 😂
You’ll never guess…I’ll update and title and description when I am good and gosh dang ready you don’t own me (yes you specifically why are you even here)
I enjoyed i! It must be hard trying all these new systems getting them in your brain. I bet you'd get the hang of that loop after a good few play throughs, but even then, the size of them rulebooks, theres always going to be something missed
Thanks for the video man, I'm working all this out at the same time as you and I can definitely relate to some of your frustrations. I have to flick back and forth for every single rule, I also am struggling for some things to stick in the noggin. 😅
Really enjoyed this Malone. <3 Any chance you could share the additional resources you used? Like the location table you created to roll on and the modified map?
