Thank you for actually waiting until after you’ve played the game before doing the video! There are more than enough “box openings”, “flip throughs” & summaries.

This is one of the most holistic and sociable systems I've come across. Seems to really emphasize the minutiae of each individual contributing special personal qualities to a team.

This is my favorite TTRPG system ever created. Great video, BTW!

Rolling an 11, or the Eye of Sauron is not an automatic failure. The feat day counts as zero. But if the sum of the d6s equal or exceed the TN, the skill attempt or combat attack succeeds.

The Eye though triggers negative effects.

This video was a god send, thank you for taking the time to explain the systems. Not all heroes wear capes, some teach RPGs

I like the breakdown. I really like the nuance of the system and how it abstracts a lot of the standard things DND doesn't bother to, and encumbrance actually matters and can be changed to avoid getting tired? That's good game design.

Thanks for the overview! I'm a huge Tolkien fan, and I have the old edition. This looks similar but I notice some small changes that I like, so maybe I'll try this one too.

Been looking into this and thinking of getting the starter set for a good intro into the system. I like how this system seems natural and more realistic in how player characters learn skills, acquire knowledge, and gain experience. I get the impression that gameplay is more fluid. Anyway, excellent primer into the system.
