by the light of the emperor!

I'm not a big Vtuber guy, but your laugh makes me happy. That's all I have to say.

Edit: I have a vtuber model in the works. Guess I have Berry to thank for introducing me to this world 💜

The great bricked one claims another vtuber soul

The Eldar fall was not like a 2 weeks event, it was like thousands of years of debauchery on a galactic scale.

TBH "aura farming" is a perfect way to describe the Emperor, as IIRC almost nobody has actually seen "The Emperor", but only their own psychic margination of the Emperor.

Meaning they only see "The Emperor of Mankind" and not the actual person itself, because of his "psychic aura".

Oh fuck yeah! Work can wait for 40 minutes. Berry is hitting the Bricky Warhammer Pipeline. This and his factions explained videos are some of my favorite to see people react to. If Berry gets to his factions videos, then I'm calling it now, my money is on her leaning either Ork or Tyrannid.

At this point, Bricky is basically the de facto gateway for VTubers falling into the WH 40k rabbit hole. Might as well be THE TRADITION.

14:09 “Everyone’s OP!” That’s it! You’ve summarized 40k! Everyone’s just OP and hates each other.

The Emperor was born in 8,000 BC in what is modern day Turkey. So he would have been 38,000 years old during the Horus Heresy. 40k is now past the year 41,000 ad, so the Emperor's 50,000th b-day is coming up in one more millennia, be sure to get him a present.

but more seriously, best way to think of it is the Emperor turned 10,025 this year (10,000 in thew year 2,000). He was about 5,400 to 5,500 when the Great Pyramids were built. Oh, and it was his army that destroyed the Tower of Bable about 300 years later. He later became Alexander the Great (336 to 323 bc), only stopping his campaign and faking his death when he reached the Himalayas and found the Golden Throne. Some say the "And when Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept, for there were no more worlds to conquer" is a many sources of the real Alexander not the 40k Emperor stated he wept when he found out from philosophers that there was an infinite number of other worlds and he could never conquer them all. So 40k writers being nerds had him find out from the golden throne about other planets to cause this. The Emperor literally spent much of the following time between then and now learning science and advancing our species... just so we could go out and conquer the galaxy.

There's a scene in great crusade before the Horus Hersey where the Emperor is explaining to Magnus that once were conquer the Galaxy and secure it, were leaving the galaxy to conquer the entire universe. Both he and Magnus might not even be alive by then anymore but he wanted to advance humanity to their level, so they'd have the same drive and could carry on the dream. That's the Emperor's plan. 1) secure humanities survival 2) conquer the galaxy 3) advance the species to all become psykers like them 4) start conquering the near by galaxies 5) and then the local super group of galaxies 6-infinity) conquer literally everything else too. Magnus loved the dream and was inspired by the Emperors ambition. He threw it all away to save his 1,000 remaining sons even though they were all beyond saving later though but The Emperor is kinda the opposite, he'd let all his sons and even himself die for the sake of humanities survival and them then carrying on his dream.

This is gonna be great! My best friend recently got me into Warhammer and I'm all about it!
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!! 😤

17:34 Event Horizon the movie isn't really a Warhammer 40k film, but damn if it doesn't capture the feeling of it. A lot of 40k fans really do consider it to be an unofficial prequel.

The vast majority of humans live on Hive Worlds, with approximately 32,000 to 35,000 classified Hive Worlds acting as massive population hubs. The he human population within the Warhammer 40,000 Imperium of Man is immense and largely unquantifiable, generally estimated to be in the quadrillions the emperor has only devoured 3,650,000,000 psyker's which is less than 100th of 1% so there is plenty left

The Horus Heresy books started in two thousand six and is only just finishing up nearly twenty years later.

FOR THE EMPEROR

In the 10k years since the Horus Heresy the emperor has chowed down on about 3.5 billion souls.  Although in 40K things are measured in the trillions.

Regarding how they manage to find enough psykers to feed to the Big E, it’s because there are so many humans across the entire territory of the Imperium, in addition to warp travel allowing them to relatively quickly bring them to their home base at Terra. While becoming a psyker is rare, when the population is so exaggeratedly large, there are going to be a lot of psykers standing around just waiting to be harvested.

14:26 "everybody is op"
That is what syndrom tried to make sense
"If every body is super then no one is"

14:44 Being a wizard is more risky in that you can blow your brains out at any time by using too many spells or you're more likely to be taken advantage of by a demon than you are to find a corpse in a 40k battlefield looking for a comrade

I love how there's an artwork for EVERY sentence of the script 😄

There's actually 64 Horus Heresy books. 54 in the original series and 10 dealing specifically with the final battle, the traitor sieging Earth/Terra.
