BENSON BOONE - BEAUTIFUL THINGS https://youtu.be/9RZnCFHImmQ?si=uf7tgFwviqiSGko9

The six feet, is a reference to the distance that they dig the graves,  6ft, he lost his grandmother and wrote this for her, sad song, everyone that lost someone important should understand the feeling

Yep Benson Boone wrote this song himself. Idk if he had any help but this song is dedicated to his grandmother who passed away..

"You took the best of my heart, and left the rest in pieces".

Rest in pieces. Rest in peace.

This one hurt hurts.

I'm probably medically slow but when he says "you took the best of my heart and left the rest in pieces" its a double meaning cause "RIP". Which blew my brain backwards after listening to it a couple times.

"Slow it Down" & " Cry" off of the album that just dropped last night are also fabulous!

Benson Boone just dropped an album 30 min ago. ;)

That line about the 20 bill, hits hard. My son has a twenty from my mom in his wallet that he won’t spend either. 😢

Love your reaction! 6 feet could certainly mean covid social distancing (never thought of that)...or 6 ft under in the grave...or both. Benson wrote this heartfelt song, it's about his grandmother who passed away. Not sure when she passed tho. Just beautifully sad 🥺❤️‍🩹

6 feet in the ground he's singing about his grandmother that passed away ❤

He wrote that song for his grandmother who passed away. He writes his own songs has a co writer also. Has only been singing since his senior year in high school.
He was probably 21 when he wrote that song. He's twenty two now.

Benson is my favorite voice right now. He is going to be on Conan in a few days!! He writes his own songs. Such a talented guy. He is a breath of fresh air. We need a new voice that’s easy on the ears and good for the heart!💜💜💜

He wrote it…and it’s about his great grandmother.  I’m sooo glad we have Benson Boone. He’s like a breath of fresh air in this world!!  He’s in my top 3 musicians/singers and that’s saying a lot… he’s amazing.

His new album is coming out you should react to!! Slow It Down is the another single he’s released for it you can check out!

Everyone are sad when their grandmother died ❤

Such a beautiful heavy song!

Monday, February 7, 1921, Ruth Ilene Jensen was born in Lovell, Wyoming. Today millions of people know her only as “G.G.” because one particular of her great grandchildren has often shared with his legions of fans that he called her that. He speaks of G.G. when he tells the story of the emotional and heartfelt song he wrote and sings about her that has touched the souls of so many people. Were it not for Benson Boone and his moving song “In the Stars”, remembrance of G.G. may have stayed amongst her close and loving family and friends. But now, for millions of people who never knew her personally, Ruth Jensen’s vast and enduring legacy will be a testament to the lasting impact of those remarkable people in our lives who’ve made a profound impact upon us. And if the humble, kind, caring, and funny Benson Boone is any indication of the character and influence she bestowed upon her descendants, and they in turn upon theirs, the world is destined to be a better place for all.

There is a girl that covers this, too.  Her name is " Sami Rose." Both are incredibly powerful.  ❤

I cry so hard when I hear this song..
