Who is your favorite Character from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen series?

A background prop being #1 feels very accurate

The guy that drank a whole bottle of jekill formula look closer to hyde than hyde himself

Such a shame people hated this film because I fucking loved it as a child and still love it now.

It makes sense that the painting would be the number 1. The studio had to hire an artist who probably had zero experience with the source material. That artist definetly opened the comic, saw the back ground art and pict a portrait and decided to paint the most interesting one they saw. Everyone else who worked on this film " walked a different path"

This series has potential, it really needs a reboot (maybe a series).

Such a nostalgic film for me, watched it with my mum when I was like 7/8 and thought it was really fun. Then not many years after, read the comic and was like “oh 😐” 😂 can’t bring myself to watch it again now

Me and my 2 older brothers watched this movie so much when we were younger. My favorite part was watching Mr. Hyde and Captain Nemo vs the big red dude.

I'm not going to lie, I really liked the idea of Tom Sawyer becoming a special agent of some kind. He has the temperament, cleverness, and boldness to grow up to be something like that.

Not done great in this movie, but still. I like the idea.

I enjoyed this movie so much that I bought every version of the books.

Maybe it's me. I never read the comic books. So I went into this movie with a clean slate. I kind of liked it. It had its moments that I enjoyed a lot, and also had moments that I scratched my head. But but overall I like the movie and have seen it multiple times.

That movie is my guilty pleasure
It hast a Special place in my Heart

I love the bit in the film where the invisible man is in quartermain's room, so he turns the lights off to level the playing field and beats him up

Theres generally some really creative use of some of the abilities from what I remember

please do a the Boys ranked by comic book accuracy!!!

3:16 Jack the Ripper is the first person to come to my mind second jackal and Hyde tho I don’t know how much of a villain Hyde really was or is in most adaptations

Coming across this video randomly, I LOVE your style of narrative dissection of things so you now have a new subscriber!

This movie is the definition of “a great time when you don’t have a hater in your ear”

Man my first thought when I think villainous Victorian era character, I think jack the ripper

As a comic book film...TERRIBLE
As an action/adventure film...AWESOME!!!

Haha great list!  Hyde and Mina have the best scenes in the comic. Him wondering why she isn't afraid of him and her whole, "Oh, I'm terrified, but..." bit where it's like, "Dude, you ain't as scary as Vlad" was a highlight, especially with how much he respected her after that. And Hyde vs. the Martians was another great moment. Hyde being able to see the invisible man but never letting anyone know never got a payoff, unfortunately.  Actually, the whole "There was No Doctor" bit from M was great, too. Ugh, now I need to reread them...
