I feel like something happened this spring and we ended up on the wrong side of a quantum split

i 100% don't think Yzerman was fired, I think he got fed up with Chris Ilitch wanting to low ball everything. I believe Yzerman was brought here because of who he is to sell and make money. Fuck Ilitch he is a greedy snake, he does not care about anything but money.

I heard a few stories about Chris  illitch last year from a colleague of mine that actually knows people in his inner circle, and I didn’t wanna believe those things would affect his ownership ability and maybe it doesn’t. I’m not gonna get into exactly what those things are but at the very least, Chris is doing a piss poor job of owning the Detroit Red Wings.
The Tigers did do a nice little tribute to Verlander however, mean these franchisees are capable of honoring its players. I just don’t understand why they can’t honor their play with quality contracts and loyalty like they used to.

I wonder if Chris thought fans might turn against Edvinsson for “holding out” and get no blame like in Larkin’s situation. I could see him being that arrogant considering how Yzerman had to fall on the sword for his cheap ass meddling ownership

It's hard to think about how far this organization has fallen.

Larkin needs to play his guts out and let the chips fall where they may.

If they go into an early losing streak I think they sign Edvinsson quickly.

Sean Horcoff is not a stupid GM. If he had true autonomy he would have signed Edvinsson to an estimated deal worth 9.5 mil x 7 years.  But, he is saddled with the same restrictions Yzerman had;  A CHEAP,  MICRO-MANAGING , OWNER.  Boycott the pizza.

Chris Ilitch needs to leave the team to a competent GM before every season tkt holder leaves.
