I cant think of a more unlucky woman than the lady who almost makes it out and has freaking Tyberos land right in front of you.

Nice to see the Mantis Warriors getting some love.

Such a sad story, beautifully written. Carcharadons really don't give a fuck

Been desperately dreaming of Carcharadons content and I already know your gonna crush it. We definitely need more fan made material since Robbie hasn’t dropped anything in ages. Please do more!
Little sad we didn’t get a Carcharadons pov but the mantis warriors were the perfect doomed hero’s! Well done vox

A Carcharodon story by Stephen Duxbury!? Oh hell yes

@williambond2267 2 years ago (edited)

The Mantis Warriors didn’t stand a chance against the Carcharadons. The Lamenters stood even less of a chance against the Minotaurs though…

Zoroastrianism carried into the 41st millennium by post-human warrior monks. Only in 40k! Wonderful work as always, Vox. You bring to life the wonderful writing of Mr. Duxbury.

"Shhhh..... no words, just rending". Presumably hand signed by a veteran to a neophyte that said something lengthy like "For The Void Father!".

This has got to be one of the best stories I’ve heard in a while. Between Stephen’s writing and Vox’s voice acting it is superb

The often overlooked Mantis Warriors getting some spotlight. Thank you Vox and Stephan for this gem.

As Dori once said in “Finding Nemo”
“Wow…dusty”

This work single-handedly made me fall in love with the Mantis Warriors, a chapter I'd only ever thought of as some kind of wierd afterthought of random GW chapter creation. Well done.

Tyberos is an absolute beast. We need more stories about him and the space sharks

@DavidScobie 8 months ago

You have to respect the sharks you know exactly whats going to happen if they arrive and its not mug of tea and cake time.

@yourbuddyunit 2 years ago

Please sir, may I have more space sharks, and/or stories that show the terror of astartes on both sides of the conflict. This was goddamn beautiful.

Truly, you're like a 40k dovakin or a bene gesserit...

you've got a way with the voice.

The Carcharodons are my favorite, and yet, I cried and mourned with the Mantis.

@ScottBSmith3000 2 years ago

The descriptions and metaphors, especially in the beginning with the common folk in the settlement, were really well done. Big props to the author.

Tyberos...the red wake.

What a frightening individual.

The Carcharadons are one of those chapters that make you wonder if the cure is worse than the disease.

The Badab war was a tragedy.
