To help get myself ready for the changing of the seasons, I've planned some autumn projects that I'm really excited about. Feel free to skip ahead to specific projects using the chapters:

My Elodie Wrap Dress by Closet Core Patterns and Pisa Bow Bag by Kate Eva Designs will be made in an ex Zara deadstock from a destash from ‪@SEWDOITEMMA‬ . The Olya Dress by Paper Theory will play with striped viscose from Guthrie and Ghani. I am planning Frank Jeans by Closet Core Patterns in a Cone Mills S Jean denim from Guthrie and Ghani as well as a midwash denim from Sew Me Sunshine. I plan to make the Glover Jean Jacket by Cashmerette (Club) in black denim from Sew Me Sunshine. My reclaimed cashmere sweater, insprired by ‪@Lisamakes‬ is waiting for project inspiration!

In this video, I'm wearing the Olya Shirt by Paper Theory in a lightweight cotton stripe from Blackbird Fabrics.

For the red striped fabric, you could try over dying it with a pink or red. You might end up with something reminiscent of Merchant and Mills stripes.

I didn’t realise that Closet Core had changed their block. Like you, their original block is one of the only ones I’ve found that fits me right out of the packet. Great plans

Great Frocktails dress plans. The fabric is gorgeous. I made a matching handbag for my wedding guest outfit last month. I got so many comments on it. I put pockets in my full pleated silk skirt but the only thing I put in them was my hands 😊. I❤❤❤ your striped fabric and I immediately thought shirt dress but I honestly think you should use one stripe size for the left front and the other for the right. Then mix it up on the rest of the details. Can't wait to see it. Wear it open over your new medium wash jeans and a T-shirt! I've watched Lisa for ages. She started in Toronto which is not far from me.

As the sweater is machine knitted it will be very difficult to unravel it. Why don’t you use it as fabric? It is so big you could easily make the balloon sleeves and make it the length you like.
Your stripe fabric does not give me circus tent vibes. It would if it were genuine red. The dress will look lovely.

Your sewing plans are great. I have said this before, you do know your colours! The fabric for the Frocktails dress is beautiful. An I am happy that you chose the shirt dress over co-ord pants set, for the stripy fabric! I am not good with pairing patterns to fabrics :( and so no suggestions for the knit. But it looks like a machine knit fabric, not yarn that you could unravel and reknit? There are many cardigan/knitwear patterns out there. Am interested to hear from others, and to know what you pick for it.

I love that dress. I've seen a few people discussing how difficult the waist is and how it doesnt have much ease which scared me from making it. Good luck with it . I will be interested to see how you find it.

Oh yeah, I think you'll love the Elodie in the printed rayon. My only tip is not to shorten the wrap line too much or you'll lose the blouson effect that it's supposed to have. I also want to make the Frank jeans in but in the wide leg and the barrel leg views (I need to do a muslin 1st.). I just started knitting Rebecca Clow's new Struan cardigan, in Patagonia merino, and I'm enjoying it so much. You might like her Ariundle sweater. I've also got my eye on the Rosie Yoke Blouse by Le Knit by Lene Holm Samsøe.
