Welcome back to another episode of My Sewing Diaries! 🧵💕

This week I’m sharing THREE fabulous new makes, and I absolutely LOVE how they’ve all turned out!

From sewing with boiled wool to getting the perfect sleeve fit and adding my favourite pockets to a pair of trousers, there’s plenty of sewing inspiration, pattern adjustments and a little pattern hacking along the way!

Here’s what I’ve been sewing this week:

🩷 MAKE 1 – Fibre Mood Mona

First up is the Fibre Mood Mona, made in a gorgeous boiled wool from Dalston Mills.

I’m talking you through the alterations and adjustments I made to this pattern, sharing how it came together and why I’m so pleased with the finished result.

🤍 MAKE 2 – Closet Core Crew T-Shirt

Who doesn’t love a FREE sewing pattern?

I’ve made the Closet Core Crew T-shirt in a lovely white Ponte fabric from Pound Fabrics.

This free pattern comes with both long and short sleeve options. I’m sharing the adjustments I made to achieve the sleeve fit I was looking for and how those little changes can make such a difference.

💙 MAKE 3 – Style Arc Trousers with a Pocket Hack!

My final make is a pair of Style Arc trousers in a gorgeous cotton denim-like fabric from Neil’s Fabrics.

But I couldn’t resist a little pattern hack!

I’ve borrowed the fabulous Foxy Pockets from the Pattern Emporium Vacation Vibes trousers and added them to this make.

I absolutely LOVE these pockets, and I’m sharing how this little change worked out!
