Autumn cosy home decorating, thrifting, knitting and sewing come together in this slow living vlog as I add the finishing touches around our home and complete a few handmade projects.

I’m making thoughtful changes to our cosy living room, adding thrifted and antique finds, and finishing a hand-knitted vest and a sewing project. After living with the room for a while, I’ve slowly discovered the pieces it was missing — from an antique set of books and a bamboo and wicker chair to a footstool, an antique silver candle and other small details that help bring the space together.

I also share a few thrifted finds for other rooms in our home and talk about how I like to gradually decorate and develop a home over time, rather than trying to finish everything at once.

Alongside the home decorating and thrifting, I’m working on the final details of a hand-knitted vest and completing a sewing project. There’s something particularly satisfying about finishing things — whether it’s adding the last touches to a room, completing a handmade garment or putting the final stitches into something I’ve sewn.
