First time I'm seeing this and I immediately want a present day remaster, remake, sequel, whatever. I want this game. I WANT!

I feel like games like these just wouldn't be possible nowadays. The PS2 era graphics really lent itself to this kind of "out there" concepts with these kind of character and gameplay design. It's a shame though, PS2 was full of original games like these.

Cowboy Samurais? I’m immediately in love with this game.

I think I wrote this game in the margins of my 5th grade notebook

Mexican clothing ,French accent.  I like it.

This might be the greatest video game premise ever. The only thing it’s missing is a 2nd act supernatural twist, like vampires or something.

Never heard of this game before but it looks fun

Holy shit! I had this game and completely forgot about it. Samurai Westerns are rad as hell!

this is one of those "was kinda pricey, exploded in price" after an MJR video, games.

Holy shit Matt I thought I was the only one who remembered this game!!! Anybody else remember the double sided cover art?

This game remainds me of "God hand" but with more movement.

9:26 Ghost Stance activated

Why have I never heard of Samurai Western, this game is sick

I remember when this game released.  Classic.

You've met Rising ZAN, now get ready for Descending AZN!

Wait, not like that-

“It doesn’t need to be like this, but you all made it like this.” - Matt McMuscles, 2020

The continuing adventures of Matt playing all the weird sixth generation games I keep randomly thinking about.

This game is so good, I’m so glad ur playin it. It’s such a bizarre game and I’m surprised it never got as much play as it deserves.

Bro you literally play every game I ever played. From this to Onimusha to maximum carnage... we’re best friends now :’)

Something about watching Matt play these old games that I vaguely remember seeing at Blockbuster is really nice.
