The PS2 era was the peak of video games. Everyone was just doing weird shit and I loved it. Oh, and every single tough guy was voiced by Steve Blum.

This was a wonderful era in video games.

God, I miss this era of video games. Some of the most memorable, on both ends of the quality spectrum, came about just because people went and blended a bunch of themes together and made a game out of the slurry.

This era had God Hand. Nuff said.

i hate when people hate on older games for not having "modern mechanics" but thats part of what made that era so great. ps1 ps2, everyone was so much more creative and no 1 game felt the same as another. People just made shit for the sake of making shit

Such a fun game. Speaking of, IRL, there was a relatively brief time period where Cowboys and Samurai co-existed

I just looked it up on a hunch, Sheriff Donald’s VA is the Phil LaMarr, the same guy who voiced Fat Larry in Vampire: The Masquerad - Bloodlines.

Just when we needed him the most, the legend returns.

I remember unlocking Rando and being disappointed he was using a sword.

Fun fact the protagonist’s brother’s voice actor is the narrator from Initial D.

We needed a sequel where we play as a Cowboy in Japan where everyone can dodge/parry bullets and we would have to use Gun Kata and Ricochet bullets to break through their defense

This channel is so incredibly underviewed it hurts. Your editing style and one liners are hilarious, all while still getting these classic game's stories across.
